Ted and Dolly's Magic Carpet Ride (Slot Book) Hardcover – 1 Jun. 1994

The book arrived 3 weeks later without the main part that should be on the front cover. The book is useless for a child to follow the story without it. Looks like they're cashing in on people's nostalgia. My wife wanted to share the story with our daughter but without the actual main characters, it's pointless.

Had this book as a child, now have it for my little one; love it (just wish I'd kept my copy as they're not cheap anymore!)

The key part was missing. This is a slot book which depends completely on the magic carpet. I am astonished that this was sold without it, which makes the book absolutely useless. I immediately returned the book for a full refund.

I learnt to read at quite a considerable rate but, nevertheless, this simple Picture book has remained my favourite book to the day. It's darling and sweet, and so much fun can be had with the little cardboard Ted and Dolly as you send them through the flaps in the book to a new land, then bring them safely home in time for bed. Ted and Dolly's world was my world. Heh, i Even had my own Ted and Dolly. My Childhood in a book.

A very colourful book with lots to talk about with your child as you read through the story with them. Interactive, with your child moving Ted and Dolly through the slots and also the lift and flap sections to view. A book that will be well used by all age ranges. My 7 year old loves reading it to my 4 year old.
