Fantastic value for money and great fun
This pack has 4 games of increasing difficulty, that can be competed within an hour. The code box and countdown add a different dimension to other escape room board games. As far as I could see the age rating was not to do with unsuitable content but rather the level of problem solving skills needed to participate. That said we played with a 10 year old as our youngest member - there were tests of observation and some of the puzzles she could contribute to. She also enjoyed entering the combinations into the code box but did lose interest a little about half way in. Perhaps 12+ would have more staying power! One of the things we enjoy about these sorts of games is that you work together rather than putting yourselves against each other.....which inevitable causes less angst.

Great fun and incredibly addictive (if you like this sort of thing). Started with one of the smaller packs (two player) and immediately bought this as we loved it so much.

Tough but rewarding
I don't know what to make of this game. It isn't, in my opinion, a particularly solid representation of an escape room, as a 'board' game it obviously lacks the atmosphere and heightened sense of pressure which a real escape room experience brings. The included scenarios and puzzles are generally quite solid and it provides some entertainment, once you wrap your head around it.Our team of four struggled to get going but once we had figured out the first couple of sections we got into the swing of it. The included timer tries to ramp up the stress levels but we flouted it multiple times as you reach a point where you want to get to the end, however long you ultimately end up taking. We also cheated a few times as some of the puzzles are fiendishly difficult and we just wanted to progress. I shan't go into detail as that would rather undermine the challenge. We still have one 'room' left to do (Temple of the Aztec) which will hopefully finish off the set well.The design is good and the whole thing is well written. For £35 it's not cheap (bearing in mind you can only really play each scenario once) but for a group of people to spend a few hours the price holds up pretty well. Worth a look if you enjoy something cerebral.

Fatastic
As four adults who had been to real escape room, this was fabulous challenging but achievable. would highly recommend. Great buy, and once you completed you can resell as you don't have rip or break any of it to play each game

Good fun easy enough to pick up
It was fun and played well (I have NEVER played an escape room before) once you get over the initial - what the hell do I do - by game number two you fall straight into it - I cant afford the expansion which is a real shame but I’m sure that’s just as great.

Absolutely fantastic.5 adults played the game.We found it fascinating and reasonably thought provoking.A very entertaining game which we managed to finish with just a few minutes to go.Excellent

Articolo arrivato perfettamente puntuale, ho aperto la scatola e ho visto che è tutto in inglese.Non so se ci siano giochi di parole o indovinelli che richiedano una conoscenza della lingua inglese superiore a quella del mio gruppo (i quiz si devono svelare man-mano che si avanza nella partita), quindi per evitare frustrazioni durante il gioco ho richiuso la scatola e fatto richiesta di rimborso.
