As good as new
Bought a new Zumo 395LM. Did not use it that much. Lost it. Git a "renewed" version. The "renewed" version is identical in all ways that I can detect from the original.Even when I have "make it interesting" turned off, if want to make it interesting. I live near lots of interesting routes that I know well, but sometimes I need to get from here to there. This makes me wonder if I can depend on the unit to get me directly to a destination if I do not know the route already. Also, I have a route with mostly highway that turns into a freeway for a few miles and then to city streets. Another that requires a few miles on a freeway in the middle of an otherwise all-highway route. If I say no freeway, it contorts the route to get around these. I wish there was an "a little bit of freeway is OK" or "mild preference for no freeway" setting.I have (and have had) Garmins for cars and they are stone reliable for finding a direct route. They did not al take into account traffic, like Google maps, but they find the direct route. So I am surprised about the Zumo 395LM. The display is good.

Good M/C GPS Unit
Good unit for bike and it paired nicely with my helmet comes but the screen was a little to small for my old eyes. Save your money and just buy the Zumo XT the first time around. The refurbished unit looked brand new and never used.

Must hard wire to battery? What a PITA!!
This is not a review of the GPS unit itself, I have multiple Garmin products and have never had a problem. You must hard wire this to your battery for a motorcycle. I can't believe it's not a plug and Play device. Definitely a pain in the butt to wire, and then snake the lead to your handlebars. If you have a large bike you may not have enough cable to give yourself any slack when turning. I have multiple USB and 12 volt outlets, pointless for this unit.

great for bike. can see screen well.
not a great search engine for nearest shops.gamins maps can be very inaccurate.= same with google, so this is much better for the V Rod.

I got what I paid for and regretting it
I have owned 3 other zumos and this one is the worst. Print, time, speed limit are very hard to read.I cannot get the Bluetooth working all the time. I know it's not my phone causing trouble s.The mp3 will not read music off my SD card.Same card I used in another Zumo.I bought this because it was cheaper and I am regretting it.I am going to find out if I can return it

Highly recommended
Battery life ? What battery ? The Zumo is hard wired to your bike. No worries. This is a refurbished unit but looks and performs just like new. Highly recommended.

Works well, but . . .
For a motorcycle. Screen works poorly with gloves on. Otherwise is a good unit.

Outstanding motorcycles GPS!
Works great! The website is a little difficult to use, but I finally managed. Worked great in bright sunlight. Battery lasted about 4 hours, but screen was at max brightness. Plugged in and worked perfectly
