Great small spaces trash can. We use one for recycling and another one for storing bird seed. Nice to have a closing lid like this to keep the dogs out of the can, without making it too difficult for the humans to open quickly. Compact, closes and opens easily.

The only trashcans that fit in my kitchen cupboard! I love these. I know some folks say the lids give them trouble but they've always worked for me.

Nice medium sized can that fits in my kitchen cupboard. Sometimes when I change the bag and the lid drops, the little metal hinges come off and it takes a minute or two to put them back on so the lid flips again. Otherwise a good can.Edit::Can is annoying in that every time you change the bag the tiny little hinges come off and you have to either find them in the garbage or on the floor if you are lucky. They are a paid to reattach and now the button doesn't release the lid. Waste of money.

Just as shown. Be careful when opening and closing that you do not abuse and end up loosing one of the two lid springs....that is why I had to buy this one to replace same that lasted 9 years.

I have been trying for years to find a bin with a pop-up or slide lid that would fit into the drawer under my sink and I have finally found one that is a decent size. There is nothing comparable in Australia. I am very happy to have found this bin. It is very sturdy and of good quality. If I need to replace it I will definitely buy another one of these.

Reading the other reviews I thought there might be a problem with the springs on the lid and yes when I first used it the lid flipped up with such force that it knocked the lid and springs off. Simple remedy, use 2 hands to open the lid. One on the latch and one to slow the lids release. Been perfect ever since.

High gloss almost looks like polished metal however is very gloss black plastic. Overall is little more than plastic and a couple of springs holding it all together. Seems surprisingly small compared to the pictures and description too. Regardless of Made in USA, it's expensive against similar made in China stuff which I expect to be cheap and poor quality. For the price I expected higher quality and I am willing to pay a higher price for quality. Actually bought two. Second one I received scuffed and scratched as if it had been returned by someone else and then shipped to me to fill my order. Check your measurements before proceed. Item(s) returned.
