KOHLERK-2297-0 Kathryn Under-Mount Bathroom Sink, White

I purchased and returned four of these Kathryn sinks in Thunder Grey because the have a notable bow along the right front face of the sink - about 8 inches long. The bow is subtle, but noticable if you are paying close attention to the finished rectangular shape of the actual sink and uprightness of the sink walls. I just ordered two in white and sure enough, there was the defect again; fortunately less pronounced so I can install it. Be certain to open the box and check your sink before the return period. I've brought the defect to their attention multiple times.

This sink is actually approximately 4" smaller in all dimentions than what it is specified under the seller's description. I purchased this one Kohler because it was one of the biggest ones in stock as per the description. Unfortunately, I can't delay my installation any longer, but this is wrong to sell a product with the wrong dimentions/ false advertising. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Beautiful sink fits nicely in our first floor bathroom. Great price, too!

On unpacking these sinks it was obvious they were not right. The long sides were completely distorted and bulged outwards, up to 10mm bigger than the dimensions provided by Kohler. I contacted Kohler who informed me that they work to a quality control tolerance of +- 3mm and that these sinks should not have reached the marketplace as they have a policy of destroying all seconds. They went on to say they could be counterfeit goods. Unfortunately I've discovered that the quality of Kohler products is not what it used to be and that they are obviously supplying two grades of goods, one to the high end retailers and one to the stack 'em high sheds. Kohler have denied this of course. Amazon dealt with my complaint and I eventually got a refund. If you want a straight, good quality undercounter sink, don't buy these.

Well, at least rectangle is in. I installed these in all three of my re-modeled bathrooms and think they look great.From a practical point-of-view, these are much easier to fabricate stone for - it wastes less stone as the leftover pieces are rectangular as well. These pieces could be used for many things such in-shower basins or even cutting boards (which is what I did).But aesthetically speaking, these remind me of sinks that might be used in upscale restaurants or casinos...and quite frankly, aren't you kind of tired of seeing oval sinks all your life? I sure was.

I love the look of this sink with my solid surface counter top but it doesn't drain perfectly like most standard sinks. For example, if you spit toothpaste toward the edges, it may take some extra water splashing to get it to drain. Function = 3 stars, Look = 5 stars.

I enlarged the size of the vanity and the bigger sink balanced the new vanity look. The holes will never allow the sink to over flow.
