Clarks Men's, Mansell

I've had these shoes for about two years and they are wearing like iron. Meanwhile, a pair of Target loafers, those heavy duty waterproof-looking black ones gave up on me last week. The sole cracked and let water in and then came unglued - and besides all the tread had worn off. Not so with my Clarks. They look delicate but they are tough.To replace my Target shoes I picked up some Crock look-alike Magellans. However they are thick and stiff compared to the Clarks, which are more like moccasins. I have to wear socks with my Crock look-alikes because they will cause blisters and also make my feet sweaty. I can wear the Clarks all day with bare feet. .Another difference I noticed is the Clarks design snugs in a little above the heel, just enough to keep the shoe from filp-flopping when you walk.The only knocks are: I needed a size 10 on one foot and a 10 1/2 on the other. I got that fixed but I recommend buying them in a store just in case. Also, the liner is thin and rips with use, you will need a set of Dr Scholls to set on top of them. However, the shoes are so strong, good looking and comfortable I cannot give less than five stars.

the reason for the poor review is my own fault. This would have been the 3rd time I bought this particular Clark Shoe, soI think you could safely assume I loved them (just wore out the first 2 pair).However, I buy brands like Clark & New Balance because not many other brands offer wide and extra wide. They didn't have the 8.5 wide I needed, so I bought a size 8W thinking that would work....I found out after wearing them it did not work .....so it's my loss.

It is light-weight, smart and comfortable. Has good arch support. Material is also good. Only issue is that the front of the shoe tends to wear out. This is because the soul is a little shorter than the front which exposes the front to floor while walking leaving it exposed to wear and tear. However the soul has been continued to right up to the back to give a sturdy look to the shoe.

I have to said, I didn't follow my instict when I take a look to other reviews on this shoes. Anyway this shoes have a good look, but they are not very good in quality, soon wear out quickly. Don't buy it.

Why did Clark's quit making these?????? Super comfortable and I like the styling. These were new as advertised with no issues. Thanks!!

Love them. Wore them on a 2 weeks trip and it was comfortable all the way through.

These shoes are of the highest quality and made in Brazil. They far exceed expectations and look and feel great! I have never taken the time before to write a review but felt compelled to share my experience. Great shoes for a fair price!

Pattern was the same. However it was advertised as shoepeople but sent by ebay. The color is dark brown not brown as shown in pic. The size 8M fits like 9M. Not recommended for online purchase.
