I bought a box of these yesterday, today...they have raised the price by...£3.03 wtf? furthermore they were warm! chocolate had melted somewhat, but a night in the fridge and they were ok. (lost 2 stars for those! would have been 5!) Whilst delicately removing the very sticky wrapper, I noticed the bars weren’t too badly malformed, and still noticable as a bar. Anywho...Texture and Taste, although they spent the night in the fridge (not freezer) I did gently bite into it and the...chocolate coating was firm, under that was a Nut layer, the body of it was still quite soft, smooth not gritty. The overall texture was that of a " Ripple", "Marathon" (I'm old school! if your not, then a "Snickers") and a "MilkyWay" in amongst the nut mixture was a really soft moist gooey caramel that filled the wrapper, bar and fingers too!. lol The taste...I previously mentioned, the chocolate was similar to a "Ripple" in taste and consistency, a rich luxurious mouth palate sticking smooth creamy greatness (which I always love, but now quite forbidden) which stays in your mouth for a tender while till it's slowly dissapates. "I likes it! my precious" As for the peanuts & Caramel, I ralated the bar to a "Marathon" based solely on these twin taste/texture amalgamation. Simply love these together in anything! but in this, the crisp firm nuts and the tender moist light sticky sweet treacle like texture of the "Caramel" just work damn well! Don't forget about the "MilkyWay" well...similar to it (in my opinion) the smooth nougat center (a tad gritty sometimes) or I'm I getting it mixed up with another bar? been 30 years + since I ate one, so forgive me if am incorrect. Well this one is exceedingly smooth with a velvety texture/taste which is very agreeable, and mixes exceptionally well with the other gem ingredients! I was going to tell you about the Protein content and no added sugar etc but (it does contain sugar not good for me) but just look at the ingredients for yourself, if your young/old and healthy i'd say 100% buy again and again! All in all a marvelous bar! As for the main taste test...10/10! Health test for me a poor...3/10 as I'm a recent type 2 diabetic and Ex-Chocoholic (I know the irony of it) Imao, allowed only one bar per week!

I want to give these bars minus 5 stars. Not because they're yuk, or super high in sugar or sat fat, but because they taste so damn nice. WHY???? Grab a box, I dunno what's in em or what the macros look like, but when they taste this good, I'm gonna eat em and blame it on the need for high protein foods!!!
