Mexican Coke 16.9oz Glass Bottle - 6pk

These are expensive, and here's why: for some strange reason, apparently Coca-Cola Products made in Mexico cannot be directly imported into the USA. So they are shipped to Canada and then shipped from there to my USA Address. Because I am a prime member and get free delivery, all that shipping from Mexico to Canada to the USA has got to be expensive, and I'm sure Amazon adds that to the price they pay plus a hefty profit for Amazon. if I lived in Mexico, I'm told they're actually cheaper than the American made that we buy here in the USA!Another reason is that they are much larger bottles containing more soda than the American counterpart bottled Coke.So why buy them? Unlike Cokes made in the USA, Mexican Cokes are made with real sugar instead of artificial sweetener. I've never been a big fan of artificial sweeteners being healthy, and the difference and taste between Mexican and USA cokes is amazing! As much as I would like to, I would buy these by the case except I am on a fixed income and simply cannot afford such a luxury.If you can spare the money, you might buy a four pack just to see what I'm saying and decide for yourself whether or not it is worth pulling the trigger on the eight pack (a slightly better deal) or, based on your experience with the four pack, spring for a case.I found a trick to keeping the carbonation in the bottle if you don't want to guzzle the entire huge thing. Amazon sells bath stoppers made of silicone with a screw device in the top that allows you to tighten the stopper. I am unable to look at my purchases and give you the exact item number while I am dictating this review so I will publish an update soon as it took quite a while to 1st find the stopper and then determine the exact size I needed.Another option is to buy a Rubber cork the correct diameter. Just measure the opening on the inside of the neck and buy a cork that is slightly larger in diameter at the big end of the cork.I hope this helps, and if you are Coke fan as much as my wife and I, you should definitely give Mexican Cokes a try.

Great flavor, price was a little high but not ridiculous

Glass bottles were securely protected for shipment. The sodas were tasty, We drank two of the six, the remaining bottles are for our 70's style dining room.

Been a fan of Coca-Cola in glass bottles; wish I could find them in 2 liters. Expensive but worth the cost.
