I originally had my eye on the green version, but ended up going with the gray—and honestly, it works. It has that old-school, working-class American look that fits right in without trying too hard. Snap closures worthy of Old American industry! Good weight to build muscle. However, no real insulation. This holds your stuff not necessarily keep it warm or cold. Build quality is what you’d expect from Stanley: sturdy metal construction that feels like it can take some use without falling apart. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable. Inside, there’s plenty of room for the essentials. It holds my lunch, drinks, and even a pipe pouch without feeling cramped. I still need to pick up a proper thermos to pair with it, but that’s part of the design anyway—it’s meant to work as a complete setup. Overall, this lunch box does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s durable, practical, and carries a bit of that vintage charm. If you’re looking for something reliable with a classic feel, this is a solid choice. Very good sticker retention, too.

Very heavy box!! I was seduced by Stanley Lunch Box coffee station videos so I bought one (grey color because it costs less than the green one). I did find the gap by the hinges. I did find the handle not smooth and the attachment might eventually fail. It’s a good thing that this is a vanity purchase not for daily use. Hopefully the handle would last longer. I did buy the felt liner for this box to reduce content cluttering. I find it a worthwhile investment in exchange for a bit less room in the box. I also have an iclimb mini table that can be a work station (it does slide though). The custom made wood or metal covers are very expensive. I don’t want to drive out to ikea just for a wood cutting board.
