Lighter is beautiful, comes in a cute box, but only worked for about 2 weeks. Purchased May 9, today is May 16 and has not been working for 2 days. And yes, it has fluid in itUpdate: Best customer service. Because of this review the seller reached out to me and went above and beyond to make the customer (me) happy. Although I said I was not anticipating a refund, they did this and more. I received a new lighter and there have been no issues

Oh my gosh! I am in love with this lighter! It is well made and very stylish. It is perfect for everyday use and it is built with some important safety features. First click open the cover, second click effortlessly lights the torch. Hold the button down and the torch stays lit. Let go of the button and the flame safely goes out. It stands up to the wind even at the beach. Best purchase of the year.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve only just received this today, but right now I am in love with this lighter! It’s lovely, it has a comfortable feel to it, and it filled easily.Update: after using for several days, I’ve found it to be inconsistent in lighting. I’ve bled out the air and hoping that helps.

The lighter came in a pretty nice metal tin. As advertised it doesn’t come with butane, so I had to pick some up to fill it. $7 at Lowes gets you a 160g bottle of the stuff, which should last for dozens of fills (what with how little the lighter actually holds). Which I’m not saying the lighter runs through the fuel super quickly or anything. While it definitely uses fuel more quickly than a standard lighter, that is expected, and the rate of fuel use seems quite reasonable.The flame is quite impressive. I found the flame adjustment was quite necessary. Out of the box (well, after filling) the flow was set too high and the flame would blow itself out after a second. I played around and if you set it too low the flame can easily go out just from waving the lighter around. There’s a middle ground where the flame burns well and doesn’t go out easily. On the topic of adjustment, the little stamped metal tool that comes in the box is pretty useless. None of the blades on it are quite wide enough to fit well across the adjustment knob. You can definitely use it, but I ended up just using a standard flat head screwdriver and found that to be a better experience.The lighter is a good shape that fits well in the hand. The fit and finish is quite good, with slight texturing on the sides and good plating on the brass parts. The press button to light it isn’t too heavy. The way the protective cover flips out of the way is quite satisfying. I’ve found myself just playing with it, closing it and then lighting it over and over. Something I’m still figuring out is getting it to light on the first try when the cap is closed. I think I’ve figured out that I press the button too quickly most of the time, which results in the cap sucking the fuel out of the way as it opens. If I press the button more slowly it opens and lights much more consistently. I think part of my struggle here is that a friend of mine has a zippo torch lighter, and that one only lights if you rapidly depress the button.As far as actually lighting stuff, the flame is quite vigorous and quickly sets things ablaze. The lighter works in all orientations, which is nice. One of the primary reasons I picked it up was to light incense cones. I have these natural ones that are very hard to light normally, requiring 30 seconds or so to light with a normal lighter. With this one, though, I can light up a cone in under 10 seconds.

It is a very nice looking lighter but it broke the first day I had it. I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

What a great little lighter to carry in my pocket. It is just the right weight and size to take anywhere. The flame is strong and toast my cigar rather well for the flame size. I also like the there is a punch on the bottom, that is the perfect size for standard cigars.I like that there is a small hole in the bottom that you could even put this on a lanyard so you don’t lose it. The feel and look of this lighter is very good.The price and quality of this slider is excellent and you could buy it for yourself or give it as a gift. I’m very pleased with it so far.
