A Great unit to start with
This unit is much better than I expected. At this price point it is a well made phonograph. No it is not an audiophile product. But neither is the price. Yes I did have to put a dime on the tone arm to have it track and sound better. And yes the speakers are small and a bit thin in the bass. But other than that it is just perfect for somebody is just finding the wonderful world of vinyl. My 17 year old daughter loves it. I waiting a month to write this review because I wanted to see how it performed after daily use. It has done very well. She just uses it as a turntable so I cannot comment on the computer/usb side of the unit. I am an audiophile and was impressed with the sound and ability of the tracking a motor speed to be continually spot on each time. Please keep in mind this is a unit under $100. But for that price you truly get more than your money's worth. I would recommend this turntable to anybody just entering the vinyl world.

Low Quality, Converting to MP3 is Unfeasible
So, I bought this thinking my dad could use it to convert all his vinyl to MP3s, but when I decided to test it out beforehand I found it just wasn't up to snuff. The actual record player itself is technically fine. The speakers are not great, but they do work and playback is pretty much fine. However, the actual process of converting the vinyl to MP3 is a joke. First off, the install CD just has a copy of Audacity with LAME codecs, both of which are already available for free. Second, even though it plays stereo sound, it will only record in mono. And third, and perhaps most damning, the recordings come with a constant low hissing noise over the whole track.I don't recommend it at all.

Overally, good.
Beautiful, but the speakers are very poor quality.

Simple operation with decent speakers. Great product for the price.
Fun little record player with a big sound. It also can connect to any external audio device like a receiver or sound bar, but there's not much need for either because the speakers on this turntable are loud enough. I bought this for my son so he can listen to the old rock albums that he buys from second-hand shops. He really liked it. It's small in size, but there are openings are each side of the dust cover so it closes around the record. It doesn't take up much room. Perfect for anyone who just wants to listen to some albums without a need for high quality stereo sound and doesn't want to spend too much money.

Don't buy. Short in of/on/volume dial after 60 days.
Has short in on/off/volume dial that distorts the sound and I'm only 30 days past my 30 day return window. At first I thought it was the needle wearing out too fast so I spent another $14 on a pair of replacements. It was when I installed the replacement needle that I realized the problem is in the off/on dial. I can't find how to submit it for repair trough Amazon either. This is a huge waste of $100. I should have spent another $50 or $100 and bought something locally that would last at least three months. So disappointed.

... granddaughter who has decided that vinyl records are really cool. I didn't want to invest a great deal ...
I was looking for a turntable for my young teenage granddaughter who has decided that vinyl records are really cool. I didn't want to invest a great deal of money, in case this was just a passing phase. This item fit the bill perfectly. Is the sound quality from the two little speakers "high fidelity"? No. But it's not bad for a starter unit. For better sound, hook it up to a stereo shelf unit through the RCA outputs and you're in business. I'm impressed that you can play 33s, 45s and 78s on it. The 33 speed is nice . It does not waver. There were some skipping issues until we used the old-fashioned, tried and true fix of taping a dime to the arm for a little extra weight. She is now in Beatles heaven! Thanks, Amazon.

I bought this at a store and thought it was cool. Has no headphone jack so if you want to use headphones, look elsewhere. Sound is ok and I do like the lever to slowly lower the stylus onto the Vinyl. Problem I have is, I have some of the old records and it skips on every single one. I have an old one in excellent condition and it did it to that as well. Only two records work. I don't know if I got a lemon or what, but I'm returning this.

Excellent Affordable Player
Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it and uses it daily. Nice looking unit that plays great and sounds very good for an all in one. Would buy this again in a heartbeat.
