Best deal for a starter Trikke
My wife and I bought one of these to get into shape. The price was more appealing than the T8 for a starter Trikke. The 8" (actually 8.5") air tires were bought at the same time since we only would mainly be riding on road asphalt. The 'cs' stands for convertible steel. The frame is steel and the convertible is being able to change out the 7" polyurethane tires. After a night or two of 30 minute sessions, we were able to start off without kick pushing and go along the flat areas slowly.About two weeks later I found a first generation T12 Roadster on Craig's list. I wish they still made the T12 but it has been discontinued for a few years now at least.Between the two I find the T78 has a different rhythm because of the shorter wheelbase and narrower stance.I am glad we purchased the T78 as a starter Trikke but I can see that I will probably buy a T8 Sport when it comes time to replace either one.The price doubles but the slightly longer wheel base and wider stance are what I need for my size (6'1" @ 240 lbs).

Way cool
I read an article about these in the paper - read the reviews all over the web - and everyone raved. So I thought I would give it a try. At first, I was very frustrated. It is challenging to ride when the elevation increases - even slightly. Even terrain or slightly downhill - it was great. About a week ago - I was still pursuing and finally hit what they refer to as the sweet spot. When you are moving up increasing elevation - you really use your arms more than they indicate in the video. And its a great workout while being fun. The drawback for me - is they recently chip sealed the roads in my subdivision -- cant Trikke on gravel.Sidewalks and flat asphalt are good places to start. Everyone who has tried it has loved it -- old, young, etc. For smaller children -- you would need the smaller fitting Trikkes - but this has been adequate for everyone from 5' to 5'10".All in all this is very fun and enjoyable - I try and make time daily to ride it.If you want something different to do, incorporate into your exercise routine - a Trikke is a good way to go!

One Star
Hard to use and really not worth the money

Worth the effort to learn how to carve.
This is definitely harder than it looks but I did manage to get it going on my first night out. I by no means got it going like they did in videos online, but I have hope I will get there. The Trikke seems to be quite sturdy. I'm giving it 4 stars because they really don't disclose how much of a learning curve there is to getting to the level of the carvers in videos.Update: It took me a considerable amount of time to learn to carve. I had to keep searching for videos on YouTube to find different technique presentations. Finally, found one that seemed to resonate with me..."if your not rocking, you're not rolling" turned out to be the key peice of advice that got me really going. I now absolutely LOVE my trikkes. Yes, I have since bought another model. I can't recommend them enough. Persevere through the learning curve!

Trikke - Do not buy from e-sellit USA
I honestly cannot review this product as I bought it ALMOST NEW. It came in a box that was too small for it and therefore broke in shipping. I have shipped the product back since but have not heard from the seller (e-sellit USA) about my refund. I have filed a claim with Amazon and this takes around 2 weeks to investigate. In the meantime, I still cannot have not tried a Trikke.
