Color is similar to traditional incandescent (I like the 2700K Warm White). Brightness is great - I think 50W is a fair estimation. I have these in tracks around my apartment and everything looks bright and clean. Plus - they dim well, dim all the way down to a night-light glow, and no flickering even with my 20 year old dimmers. (other LEDs I've bought have flicker problems in my dimmer controlled lamps.) I'm about 100% converted to LED now, so happy! 8W instead of 50W! "Go ahead Honey, leave the lights on, see if I care!"

So far so good. Great light quality and performance. I got the warm (2700) color, and it was just as I expected it to be. I should mention that two of my dozen new lights didn't work out of the box. I called Hyperikon and got a customer service rep on the phone immediately, and I got two new bulbs a couple of days later.

My previous overhead recessed light bulbs were giving me the flickers, despite having made sure they were rated as such. I blamed my dimmer, I blamed my main, but ultimately switching to these bulbs did the trick. They have a nice warm hue, and despite being rated at 8w they are brighter than the 8.5w I replaced. Very happy with the brightness and light quality.

Good product. 5 of 6 bulbs had no buzzing sound so I’d call that a win all things considered. The bulb with a buzzing sound was only slightly buzzing as much as another good philips bulb was and unless you held your head up to the ceiling you wouldn’t hear it. Overall 5 stars but expensive.

I love these bulbs! They are like a true light bulb in color. There is absolutely no white or blue hue to them. The amount of light they produce is fantastic. So happy they were what we were looking for at an amazing price!

Installed all 6 of these bulbs in my kitchen a day after I received them. Within an hour one of the bulbs is rapidly flickering. Will turn the bulbs and look for another manufacturer.

Nice color tone, works well in our kitchen.

The lens are made out of plastic and come off when you use a suction cup to install on ceiling lights so they don't screw in completely

They fit perfectly, no flickering, good light,. Haven't had them long enough to rate longevity. Delivery was early.

Like the white color. More powerfull than i tought
