Seagate Expansion 3.5" External Hard Drive 8TB STKP8000400

I like seagate HDD. I have 4 seagate HDD and it performs well. Excellent HDD. Highly Recommended.

Drive is dead less than one year after purchase. 6TB of important data gone. Do not trust this drive with anything important.

There’s not much to say about a hard drive: it either works or it doesn’t, and this one does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It provides the advertised capacity, has been reliable so far, and I’m happy with it.I also like the design. The enclosure looks solid and feels robust, which gives it a more substantial look than many external drives.I use it next to a mini PC that acts as my home server, right beside where I sit and work. The mini PC itself is practically silent, but I can hear the hard drive when it’s active. It has that typical low hard-drive hum and chatter, and strangely enough, I actually like it.After a while, you start recognizing its normal activity patterns. Just by hearing how the drive is working, I can often tell whether the server is busy or if something unusual might be happening. It’s almost like having a very basic acoustic activity monitor built into the desk.Overall, it does exactly what I wanted: plenty of storage, solid construction, and reliable operation.

Excellent Product, Service, Communication & Delivery, Highly Recommend AAA+++++
