No te va a defraudar.

It is mid
Like I think maybe I may have received a faulty one.The noise cuts in and out every so often.Like on a cue, of about every 12-15 minutes. At first, I thought it was my computer due to plugging it from the front.Tried plugging it into the back, and the issue persisted.Switched it out with another wired headphone I had, and it never had the same issue. The second thing I dislike is the short cable.Been trying to find a longer cable, but due to the way this specific cable with it's mechanism and only one tab makes it hard to find similar connections. The ones I keep finding are the two tab variant for the other kind of headphones from Sennheiser.Honestly, I would say just give more money and get something better than this.Otherwise, if you got one that doesn't have as many issues and don't have to worry about the reach, then honestly, it's not so bad.The noise profile does have some accentuation to some of the higher frequencies, and does not lose or muddy the bass all that much. so it's relatively flat with some "pop" or spice to some songs.Sound stage is pretty open, so it does gives more of a grandeur to some songs that have their pan or sound mixing set up well, meaning that you feel a direction when the music decides to pull in that motion.I got them for around 60 USD, and for the price, might buy them again because they are great when they work. But if it's a lottery if I get a decent one, and trying to find a longer cable for this, then I would just pass and go for their higher tier versions or go with a different brand.Main thing I liked was the aesthetic, for it was something simple that did not clash with my setup, nothing gimmicky or flashy, just a headphone that would work and play.As for my next ones, I'll either go for V-Moda because I recognize that brand and like the look.Other wise, for more serious, would go for a more flat Sennheiser set or Audio Technica, or even Bose.Although, I like the look more of Senn or AT than Bose.

A couple small negatives, but overall pretty sweet headphones (Updated after a couple days of use)
To start off, I'm definitely not an audiophile. These are the most expensive headphones (excluding PC headsets) I've ever owned and I haven't owned that many to begin with. However, I'm overall quite satisfied with the headphones. The bass is right where I like it, the mids and highs could be a TINY bit clearer but to be honest they still sound absolutely awesome. Just a little blurred out by the bass sometimes, but I mostly listen to bass-oriented music anyway, so that's minor. I like the flat style of the cord and I love the length (about 4 feet; perfect for listening to an ipod or other mp3 player. The style/cosmetic of the headphones are great. I only have two complaints One is the bag it comes with. Could they really not have shipped these with a hard shell case instead of a baggie? They don't protect the headphones from anything more than a scuff or light scratch. The other thing I don't like is the size of the earcups. I have slightly large ears (though not too big) and these earcups don't fully fit over my ears. My ears have to be a little scrunched to get all the way in them. From the Logitech G35 and Sennheiser PC 363D computer headsets that I've owned, I really like the large earcups and I love not having my ears bothered (it's the main reason I like over-ear sets in the first place). I tried the Audio Technica ATH-M40x headphones and they were very tight and overheated my ears within minutes. I kind of expected these Urbanites to be larger (like Sennheiser's headset that I own) but I can at least say that the Urbanites do not cause my ears to sweat the way the M40x did. I suppose I'll get used to the earcup size because I've decided to not return them, but I hope that Sennheiser considers making circum-aural headphones a little bigger than these in the future.UPDATE (after a few days of use) 8/3/2016: I've been using these at work and I have thoroughly enjoyed using them. The slightly smaller ear cup size that I previously made mention of isn't so bad once you learn exactly where to place them on your ears, and overall I'm finding them very comfortable. I made a comment that the mids and highs seemed a little blurred out by the bass but after listening to a more variety of songs than I originally tested the headphones with, I actually think the highs and mids are quite excellent. The only concern I'd like to add right now is that, while I still love the flat aesthetic of the cord, I do find that it feels stiff and will sit in strange positions that can get fumble-y. It also feels more prone to getting caught on things due to the extra surface area and friction of the material (rubber, maybe?). But still, overall, I'm loving the headphones and I have yet to regret buying them.

OK, I'm impressed
Honestly, I'm in love with these. For me, they excel in a few areas:- Sound: I'll preface this by saying I'm not an audiophile, but I was really impressed with the clarity and depth of the sound. I listened to some Phantom of the Opera tracks and - no exaggeration - my mouth dropped open. The sound is just so much *better* than the other headphones I've had. And it seems fairly well-balanced, too, which is appreciated.- Comfort: Honestly, I wasn't sold on the idea of the velour pads until I tried them, but I'm glad I gave them a chance. They're a little more breathable than pleather, so my ears don't overheat as much. I can comfortably wear these headphones for several hours at a time, which is really nice for movie marathons and stuff.- Noise isolation: I know these aren't designed for that purpose, but I was pretty impressed by the level of noise isolation. When I don't have anything playing, they can block out my roommate talking, and when I'm playing music they block out a lot of noise on planes. I can even use them when my LOUD dishwasher is running with little interference. Now, while I am in love with these phones, they do have two cons:1) Despite the attempt to appeal to the more, well, urbanite crowd, these aren't really portable because they're so big. Definitely not something I'd bring with me to wear on the bus.2) They really should come with a hard case, especially at this price point. I travel quite a bit, and even though these seem sturdy I'm always worried that they're going to get crushed in my carry-on (incidentally, this was what slayed my Monsters).Overall, I'm really happy with these headphones and I'm glad I shelled out a little (OK, a lot) more for them.

Great sound, cups a bit small, mic doesn't work with PS4
Very nice sound, with good "punch" on the base. These may be over-ear headphones, in that they cover your ear completely, but the cups sit "on" your ears, not "around" them. You would need to have amazingly small ears for these to fit "over" your ears. That said, the cups are very soft, so they are still quite comfortable. The cable is a single 4-pole 3.5mm plug (headset/microphone combined). Would be nice if it came with a second cable that had split headphone/microphone plugs, or at least they could provide a splitter. The cable is removable, but the plug that goes into the headset itself appears to be a bit thinner than a standard 3.5mm plug, so I'm not sure that you would be able to replace it with a generic cable if the need arose.Overall, I'd say that the sound is better than my Sennheiser Game Zero headset, but I personally find the Game Zero to be more comfortable because it has much larger ear cups, making it a true "over-ear" headset in my mind. One final note: For anyone hoping to use these headphones and the built-in mic with a PS4, the built-in mic in the cable will NOT work when the headphones are plugged into a PS4 controller.
