Amazing phone
The crease is barely noticable in daily use. I only really notice it when I'm actively thinking about it and occasionally when drawing on my phone but it's tolerable. I love the external screen and it's helped me to not use my phone for extended periods of time. The phone build is sturdy and high quality, it runs fast, and most apps work great on the external display (even games Minecraft). The value of this phone is incredible. The camera is better than just about any android phone I've seen in person, there's more storage and memory than I even know what to do with, the audio quality is pretty solid and it's loud enough to play music in a rickety car on a bumpy freeway with the windows down. I haven't had any issues with calls dropping, occasionally texts will take a while to go through but I live in the mountains, so that's to be expected. Out and about my service connection is always great. The phone has also been generally fun to use. The only two pieces of tech to come out in my lifetime that I've really felt excited over have been virtual reality and foldable smart phones, and this phone has really lived up to my excitement. The external display mirroring the internal display when taking photos is something that comes in very handy and people always get so excited when they first see it. The phone has made for a great conversation starter when out and about. I like to carry it in my hand instead of in my pocket sometimes because I love when people ask me questions about it and I get to show off all the fun features. The external display runs all sorts of things including just about any mobile game you can think of. The smart connect feature works surprisingly well with my computer and makes it easier to respond to texts while working without getting immediately sidetracked. Google Gemini comes in very handy when I need quick answers, although sometimes she has no clue what I'm saying and she ends up giving me some very strange responses as a result. The Google Lens type feature that pops up when holding down the nav bar is helpful too. I've found myself using it for quick translations or when people text a word or phrase that I'm not familiar with. I downloaded the Novel Launcher on this phone as I had with my previous phone. It works great on the internal display but it doesn't work well on the external display because it carries the settings from the internal display over to the external display and so everything is squished and cut off in order to make it fit. If there were an option in Nova Launcher to set up two separate home screens for each screen of this phone then that would make the app more practical, but I'm happy enough with the customizability available on the external screen as Motorola designed it. I did have concerns with not being able to change out the internal screen protector, but after having this phone for a few weeks I've realized that it's much less of an issue than anticipated because of how much time the phone spends while closed. I've never dropped the phone with it open and the screen protector on the external display has done its jobe during those falls. The internal screen is protected by default because it isn't exposed nearly as much as standard phone screens are.

It works properly, it’s very nice
It works properly, it’s very nice, but it seems quite delicate — it’s not for just any hands.

Recommend
Got for my 16 year old daughter. She and her friends think it is really cool. She likes the front screen and how the camera shows up there. She also likes the split screen inside. Recommend!

Not durable.
I bought this phone two months ago. My wife liked this phone a lot. She liked the outer screen and was happy with the camera. She happened to drop the phone from a normal not high distance and the screen and hinge broke. I understand you shouldn't drop your phone but for $500 you'd think it should be able to take a little fall. Motorola doesn't have a warranty for drops so we went to a screen repair place. They said flip phones are terrible for screen replacement and would need a new hinge and screen which would cost $500-$800 for repair. So as much or more than a brand new one. While the phone worked nice, it only worked nice for TWO months. I've typically get phone for around $300 that last 2-3 years.

Good and affordable flip
Screen quality is good, this phone is great, but heavy, and updates are sketchy. I really like this phone, but you can tell they cheaped out with the image studio as you can only do 5 a day. Smart Connect is great, Motorola's version of DEX. Camera's are just ok. I think they work well enough for the price. Motorola gestures are good. 3 years of updates compared to 7 of the big three manufacturers. I paid less than 400, so it's hard to complain. I like the fact you can do everything on the front screen, including using Apps. This phone needs a case for protection.

Very happy ex Pixel user
I have been using my RAZR for 2+ weeks. Have been (and still keeping as a backup) Pixel 7. Bottom line: this has surpassed my expectations. My primarily reason for wanting a razr is because of size and compactness, it's so much easier to carry and there are no small phones any more (I'd jump at something like iPhone 4 size). Vs the Pixel, I give up Pixels unique phone filtering setup for intercepting callers, it's superb voice mail intercept and transcription. Also photo editing capability can't match pixel. And while the speed is plenty good enough for me, I can sense slight lag in opening launching some apps, not a big deal. Some people complain about the crease... It's basically unnoticeable for me. Open, it feels real smooth like a large slab. I'm not a rough user but I sense the close mechanism is really well designed, satisfying to open and close. After years of slippery phones, the 2024 faux leather texture is just a pleasure and beautiful to look at. I have a couple of cases and they're pretty good, but often to minimize size in the pocket I don't see a case... In which case it feels much more safe than a regular slab phone with big glass area. Day to day it's been a real pleasure to use. My original intent was to swap SIM onto Pixel when I need the latter's functionality. But I've found I use the RAzr 100 percent of time now. I didn't go for 2025 Razr since only apparent plus was supposedly more secure fringe.... But the draw back is that the 2025 has a more slippery back. Also came with Android 14 but easily upgraded to Android 15. Couldn't be happier with this Mot!

An awesome phone, easy to set up
I was kinda surprised at how easy it was to transfer all my stuff from my Samsung to this Motorola, I love it! Honestly going from Samsung to Samsung took hours and transferring everything to the razor was super easy! It charges really fast too, the battery doesn't hold as good of a charge as I would like but it's definitely worth it. I have ATT and I just put my sim card in and it's been amazing

Flip Phones Fit In Pockets Better
This phone replaces a Motorola Razr year 2020 flip phone. The battery on the old phone was getting weak, and I had cracked the case by dropping it. I've never used a case protector on cell phones. The new 2024 phone has a brighter and better screen than the old phone. The 2020 folding screen held up well for the 4 years of use with no change in its useability or quality noticed over time. The 2024 phone may be slightly more difficult to grip and flip open than the prior phone. This might be my biggest complaint about the Motorola Razr - they have a stiff hinge and there is little to grasp onto with the fingers to pull it open. 5G signal strength and wi-fi connectivity is about the same for the 2020 and 2024 models. We have T Mobile service. The battery on the new phone is wonderful - get 3 days use from it between charges. I use the camera regularly, but am not a photography snob, so notice little difference between the cameras on the 2020 and 2024 models. I saved $15 by getting the 2024 phone in orange - it looks great. I'm happy with the purchase.
