DynaTrap Insect Trap 1/2 Acre Decora

it's been a month and there was a cup of dead bug in the trap. How many of them were moths, I'm not sure. Mosquito seem a little better, but no see-ums are still a major annoyance. It looks nice and is easy to turn on and off, although the only time we turn it off is to clean out.

Save your money... The DynaTrap does not work. It does catch bugs but not the bugs you want it to catch. When I clean out the part that catches the bugs more often then not it was full of moths. As advertised it would take care of mosquitos for up to an acre.... it does not. It is expensive and not worth it.

I already had a bug zapper for the annoying mosquito bloom we had this summer, but it didn't seem to help enough because the mosquitos were too small and didn't get zapped consistently. With this device, the mosquitos get sucked into it if they even get close. After putting it out, I've seen a big decline in the mosquito population in our back yard. It's especially nice because it's so quiet and doesn't make a mess. I would consider getting the indoor version as well for houseflys and mosquitos that get inside. Surprisingly effective.

I ordered two different types. This one and another with a sticky pad in the entrapment area. Night and day difference. The dehydrating model had 3 bugs after 5 days and the sticky pad model loaded up the sticky pad in 3 days and had to be changed. If you want to catch flying bugs go with the sticky pad type design.

This trap is fantastic at catching moths. The bin fills up quickly but primarily with moths leaving no room for any mosquitos!
