Third Eye Headlamps - Stylish Replacement Headbands - Soft, Adjustable, Universal, Fits Most Headlamps

Too nice! Very nice pattern and bright color (helps finding the headlamp in the dark) The band is very thick and durable, provides very solid hold and doesn't bounce around when running after my dog. It's so thick, I need to stretch it a bit to allow the light housing to go to it's full upright position. I would definitely buy another one from here and wholeheartedly recommend!

It was a bit tight when I first got it, so I stretched it over a board and left it for six months to see it that would help.Then I realized that I had just not adjusted it properly, Duh! I have now installed it, super easy and it works wonderfully! I am back to buy another one. I am updating my review. I love these replacement bands! I have just ordered my fourth one for the four Black Diamond headlamps. I have one in car, one for dog walking and night time gardening, and one for reading in bed at night, (way better than a book light). The ones that Black Diamond comes with are not very well made and lose most of their elasticity within a year. The replacement bands made by Third Eye are much better quality and overall the lamp feels much more secure on my head. Update 2021: I have just ordered three more for some cheap headlamps, "Defiant" brand, perhaps from Home Depot. We tried using one of our other Third Eye bands on them and they work fine.

I bought a Sofirn HS21 for work. I knew I would need to find an alternate headband as I hate headbands that have the strap going over the top of your head. I don't need my perfectly styled hairdo to be marred down, dammit! In comes Third Eye's single-strap headband with many great artistic stylings for you to choose from. I don't know what else to say other than it works great with my headlamp, and has held up to many wearings over the past two months. My only request? Create a section on your website to allow us to upload an image to create our own styled handband from you all, that would be pretty dang sweet.

Used this to replace busted elastic strap on a 10year old Black Diamond headlamp. Perfect fit and the BD lives on.

Nice headband. Came with no install instructions, but the video on the product page shows what to do. Minus 1-star because it doesn’t have any reflective properties, and my Petzl headband had a whistle built into one of the buckles, which is a shame to lose. Emergency and safety should be on this manufacturers radar.

Fit my husbands headlamp perfectly! A great item!

My Fenix HM62-T is the best-performing, toughest headlamp I’ve ever owned. But I didn’t like the headband strap that came with it, so, from the beginning, I’ve bought these Third Eye replacements. This is my third one. Previously, I chose the Tie-Dye, and then the Galaxy, which are my two favorites. (To be honest, I think most of the designs here are ugly. If I were manufacturing these straps, I would offer mountain silhouettes, wildlife, fun camp scenes, etc.., and the solid colors would be attractive shades of blue, red, purple…) These straps are easy to put on. I discovered that I had to stretch the fabric firmly to make it thinner and narrower for a few seconds as I slipped it into the angled notch. But each lamp's headband loops are different, and some may be configured so as to require modification of the strap to make it work. While I’m not particularly fond of the company’s logo of an Illuminati-style pyramid and all-knowing eye, I tolerate it because the logo is at least relatively small. Better than an oversized brand name printed across the band, as nearly all headlamp manufacturers do these days. I prefer not to be a walking billboard for some company’s branding. The elastic on these is not as strong and durable as the one that came with my Fenix headlamp. The band is also shorter in length, allowing for less adjustment. And, these snag pretty easily, leaving noticeable mars in the fabric, so handle with extra care. I’ve justified the purchase of each one because the designs are at least colorful. But next time, I will probably seek a brand that makes a more robust quality headband, even if the strap is just plain black. 6/16/25 UPDATE: I bought such a headlamp strap here on Amazon. It's black with bands of silicone braided into the strap. The elastic is stronger than the elastic used by Third Eye, and the silicone keeps the band in place without having to cinch it so tight. I prefer this new black strap (see the extra photo I added). There are several like it here on Amazon, though. Look for one with good ratings.

I was ready to throw out my headlamp due to the elastic failing. I needed to adjust it every time I used the headlamp. This product gave new life to my headlamp, which was a gift from my sons.

This is a great replacement head band. Had it out a back country tour the last week, no slippage or sliding around on my head. even better than the original that cam with my petzl. The only reason for the 4 stars was the pattern on it what I thought looked good and does.... is that as the day turns to night if it is sitting on the ground or the tent floor is hard to see as it blends in very nicely...lol. I may need a brighter color for night time.
