Just Cogs and chatters
Hooked this up to a GoolRC S-120A Brushless ESC because the redcat 3660 4400kv i had it hooked to Cogged a little bit, and I thought a 3660 from the same manufacture would do the trick and fix the cogging, not a chance...It wouldn't even run just chattered and sputtered, no matter how I hooked it up. and I know the ESC is good because the Redcat and my Hobbywing 3660 series will run on this controller. Do yourself a favor and stay way from this manufacture and go with a better quality company.

Well, it's not 3800kv
Ok, I'll just get straight to it, I bought this motor after my 3100kv died, popped this in for a replacement and it just didn't feel as fast. I was able to get around 51MPH with my old 3100kv, I should have at least been able to get 55Mph (more like 60 but I was being generous). I decide to throw my GPS on and do a test, it barely gets 40mph. I have calibrated the ESC, done all the programming card settings, even tried to adjust the timing. It just flat out is not a 3800kv, I would say it's more like a 2800kv, maybe 2900kv

Works okay, lacks oomph
I bought this as aback up motor to my son's Arrma Senton 3s. It fit fine with no issues except I had to modify the heat sink to accommodate the wires on this motor (not a big deal). This motor just doesn't have the speed or the acceleration of the Arrma motor with the same pinion gear.

Great low cost alternative
My 3s Typhon flies with this in it running on 2s. Cogs a bit at low rpms over rough terrain but still I'm happy with it given the low price. I haven't run it on 3s yet but the car is almost as fast running 2s as before when running 3s with the crappy Spektrum grenade motor. I wish the can was sealed on the back because the bearing is exposed. Four runs no issues so I hope it holds up for a while. I'm considering buying an Esc/motor combo from this manufacturer since I'm pretty pleased with this motor.

Lasted 2 minutes before going up in smoke!
Installed it in my Arrma Granite with the 0.8 mod system and it nearly caught my truck on fire. It was fine for 3 back and forth passes in the driveway, then on the way back it started pouring out smoke. I'm not sure if it was defective or what, but I wouldn't buy this motor again. I did purchase 2 of them, so I will give it another try, but I'm pretty disappointed in this brand so far.

Not good
Smoked it using a 60a esc and 2s lipo, which disappoints me, I have a goolrc 2600kv and it works great

Worth the money
Best cheap motor I have purchased yet! Hooked it up in my redcat volcano with 100amp no name esc and this mofo rips! Has plenty of torque for 4x4 probably will destroy my plastic spur soon but ohh well its to much fun and a great price compared to high end motors

Not a lot of torque.
This thing is insanely fast. Not a lot of torque though.
