購入前にKEFにメールしてとても丁寧な日本語でお返事くださいました メールの内容は再生可能周波数特性が11hzからとありますがシューマン共振の7.83hzを再生してスーパーウーハーのコイルは振動しますか？と質問すると"コイルは動きます"との回答 但し 再生環境は整えて下さいとお返事頂きましたので購入しました 質問をしたご担当者様から後日様子伺いのメールを頂きましたしたので購入した旨をお伝えしました シューマン共振7.83hzを再生可能なスーパーウーハーはこれしか知りません 後はバカでかい数百万するスピーカーだけです 比較的安価なのはこれ一択かと思います 睡眠時に足元に置いてプリメインアンプを通して再生してますがなかなか良いですよ

音が段違いです✨。

B＆W805D3の低音補強に本機を追加しました。クロスオーバーは60Hzに設定。本機のデジタルハイパスフルター経由で805D3をヤマハのAS800ダイレクトモードで使用。RMEのADI-2DACFSで主にYOUTUBE MUSICを聴いています。８０５本体でもそこそこの低音は出ますが本機追加で締まった重低音はよく出ます。本機はフィルターをパスする設定も可能ですが805D3は本機を通さないフルレンジ使用でも良いかもしれません。　KEF営業マンによればよく売れているそうですがメインSPもKEFなら使い勝手も良いのでしょうね。上手な使い方があれば教えてください。なお発熱を気にするご意見がありましたが無信号が続くと自動的にスタンバイになりますので電源は入れっぱなしです。本機のデジタルフィルターを経由すると中高音域が音質的にシャープになるように感じます。求めていた低音に一気に近づき透明感とエネルギーを体感できます。例えるならコントラバスの弦の音がボワンボワンでなくブルンブルンと原音らしく聞こえます。　大満足で毎日聴くようになりました。

現在メインスピーカーに使用しているfocalのフロアスタンディング型のスピーカーにマッチしたサブウーハーを探していました最初はバスレフ型のサブウーハーを使用してましたが、音のボワつき、音の遅れに悩まされていまい、設置場所、ローパスフィルター、ボリュームなど色々調整しましたが改善に至らなかった為、安い中古の密閉型のサブウーハーに交換音のボワつき、遅れは改善しましたが今度は出音の質がイマイチ今度は失敗しない為に密閉型で質の良いサブウーハーを探すことにスペースを取らない比較的小型のものは絶対条件の中、3つの候補がイクリプスtd316swmk2svs3000microkefkc62田舎住まいの為、試聴機会が無くかなり悩みましたが1000w出力のkc62に決めました試聴感想ですがバスレフ型であった問題は全くなく良質で歯切れの良い低音が楽しめます欲を言えば低音の量感がもう少しあったら最高ですが、それの改善には大型化がマストになるので最善の妥協点だと思っております

メインスピーカーのKEF LS50 Metaと一緒に使っています。内蔵のクロスオーバーは使っていません。代わりにクロスオーバー用のDSPとルーム補正ソフト（Dirac Live）を使っています。共振を排除して自然な音を出すために、精密なマイクを使って部屋のキャリブレーションを行っています。低音は非常にタイトで正確だ。対向ドライバーにより、非常に小さなキャビネットで1000Wのパワーを実現しており、これは賢い設計で、狭いスペースでも人気が出るはずだと思う。安いサブウーファーで同じ音が出せるのか？答えはノーです。これは、KEF KC62によるものを除いて、良い近道がないハイエンド・オーディオの一側面である。KEFはHi-Fiに真剣に取り組む誇り高きオーディオ会社であり、これは彼らの最高傑作である。

音質は他の方のレビューどおり素晴らしいのですが、当方の環境ではノイズが発生しました。うまく説明できないのですが、筐体に耳を近付けるといわゆるハム音のようなものが聞こえ、さらに、筐体がそれに共鳴していたのか、15kHzぐらいのかなり高い音もしていました。音楽再生時には聞こえない程度のレベルでしたが、無音時には、2メートルぐらい離れていても、いらつく程度には聞こえていました。KEFに送付して調べてもらったところ、本体に問題はないとのこと。電源環境などが原因でこのようなノイズが出ることがあるらしいのですが、対策としては、本体の音量をできる限り小さくするのがいい、とのことでしたので、試してみましたが、効果なし。しかし、そもそも、本体の音量つまみはメインスピーカーとの音量バランスを取るためにあるので、たとえこの対策によってノイズが低減したとしても、音量バランスが取れなくなり意味がないです。日本語でネット検索してみても類似の事例はまったくありませんが、英語で「KC62 hum」と入力すると結構ヒットします。いずれにせよ、メーカーでのチェックや、当方での電源周りのケアなど、考えられることは一通り試したものの完全にお手上げ状態にななったので、最終的に売却しました。

Using this with the KEF LS-50 Meta has been the perfect match for me. I loved the KEF-LS 50 Meta's but this little sub adds the umph I wanted in the low end. It makes hip-hop sound the way it should. It does great for all other music types as well.

Love this subwoofer! Awesome performance up to relatively loud levels. Super musical, integrates seamlessly with a variety of equipment. Very compact, beautifully constructed, sonically faithful. Recommended without reservations for small to mid-sized rooms for music. Not recommended for people who prefer disproportionately loud thumping for home theater or gaming. Fine for loud music or movies, with the caveat that the system dials back lower frequency signals at high volumes to prevent damage and to ensure quality reproduction.

Muy bien empaquetado y protegido para evitar golpes y daños al mismo.El subwoofer es una pequeña maravilla que permite conectar a un amplificador integrado estéreo o a un AVR y otorgar el manejo de los graves ya sea al subwoofer mismo o a lo que se conecte. Los graves que produce este subwoofer son claros, rápidos y precisos, por lo que el sonido inmediatamente (una vez que se calibra) adquiere una presencia más redonda y sólida, llenando las frecuencias bajas del espectro con autoridad. Tiene un tamaño muy conveniente, que no estorba y además se ve muy bonito.

As a long-time fan of compact subwoofers, I've owned several, including the SVS Micro 3000, Q Acoustics, and a classic Velodyne HGS-10. Initially, I was skeptical about the KEF subwoofer due to its small drivers, being accustomed to 8-inch or 10-inch units. The absence of advanced features like SVS's active equalization also gave me pause.However, all my doubts vanished after experiencing the KEF. I am now a true KEF believer! I was genuinely shocked by how seamlessly the bass integrates. It's incredibly difficult to discern that a subwoofer is even present, a stark contrast to most subs that often introduce noticeable frequency bumps or dips.With the KEF subwoofer engaged, my LS50s gained several octaves of seamless extension, significantly enhancing the depth and width of the soundstage. What's even more impressive is that this small subwoofer reaches notably lower frequencies than my 8-inch driver SVS 3000.Another astonishing aspect is the near-zero cabinet vibration. I expected a small sub to "hop around," but this unit seems to defy physics. I cannot overstate how perfectly this subwoofer complements the LS50s. Furthermore, its compact size and the fact that it houses 6-inch drivers make it an instant conversation starter among friends. I'm unsure how KEF achieved this, but the result is fantastic!I wholeheartedly recommend this subwoofer to anyone who owns a pair of KEF LS50s. Regarding its $1600 price tag, I'm enjoying it so much that I would gladly pay more. After all, I've invested in three or four other subwoofers in my quest for the "holy grail" match for my LS50s, and this KEF has finally delivered.

I'm using KEF LSX II bookshelf speakers paired with a KEF KC62 subwoofer in my small bedroom. They make a great combination. If you feel that your bookshelf speakers lack sufficient bass, and you don't feel immersed when watching movies or playing AAA games, you can add a KC62 subwoofer. It will instantly elevate the experience, allowing you to become more engrossed in the audio-visual content. If you enjoy listening to hip-hop music, it will also perfectly reproduce the full range of the music. With the rhythmic bass, you'll find yourself unconsciously moving to the beat. The bass is deeper and more powerful.
