why is half atooth missing on the combs ? no problems just curious

I have been looking for a comb that smooths static in hair. Aluminum foil does tame frizzes but I wanted to tame the roots's frizzes. These are great. I have 3C-4A hair. In humid weather, my hair do their own thing. This has greatly helped to have smooth and flat hair, in humid weather. The packaging is amazing.

I really only use one of the combs as the other 3 the teeth are far too spaced out for me but the aluminum construction does make it really easy to clean, especially when my scalp psoriasis causes so much buildup on the brushes that destroys the cheap plastic ones as I cannot get all of the gunk out.
