This is a great Chromebook with a nice screen. I love it - it is so much faster than the last one I owned. Battery life is good.

I got it for a great price during the big prime day sale. For context, I have only had two laptops for the last 18 ish years. They were both Macs. Yes. I love MacBooks. However, at this point in my life I really have no need for the extra functions or capabilities. I really just wanted an affordable basic laptop. This is just that! No frills, not extremely capable, but really NOT bad at all. It starts up fast, works great, and is honestly made pretty well. The big screen is also really nice for me. The keys aren’t backlit buuuut… I don’t personally need that function. I recommend it!

It's a pretty good product.I haven't got that family with it , but i'm pretty much computer but I would expect I bought two of that are pretty well as well as their printer from as well.

Im enjoying it. I had 33 tabs open at same time,no problems,no freezing,all was good. Its smooth,responsive,and fast. Acer did good with this one! Great 15'6 screen,very clear. Really enjoy surfing with this Glad i bought it!

This is my 2nd Chromebook, I purchased this one to replace my old one which quit working after I dropped it, if that didn't happen, it would still be working. This one arrived in perfect condition and I charged it up before using it for the first time. Like magic, I logged into my Google account, and everything loaded right onto this new laptop, I didn't have to do a thing, very easy to set up. The only thing that didn't automatically sync with the new chromebook, were my downloads. I believe I need to take some extra steps to retrieve them because the old one has a black screen due to the drop. It turns on, but I can't view anything, so it may not be possible to retrieve them at all. It picked up my printer automatically and works well with my Brother laser printer, no connectivity issues there. So far, this new Chromebook is working great. I like the clarity of the screen, I know some have mentioned issues with it, but for what I am using it for, mostly just surfing the web, not gaming, it is perfectly fine. The only thing that I would consider to be subpar, would be the volume, it is not as loud as my old CB. I purchased another one because I really did love everything about my old one and never had any issues with it. I usually have a LOT of tabs open, I know that's not a good thing lol, but it handles it very well, never had any issues with it crashing. I will probably purchase the warranty on it within the next 30 days just in case. If I have any issues with this new one, I will come back and update.

It's sad to see where this brand has fallen to. The touchpad is inferior quality. It almost immediately starts doing things on its own. It has closed down my webpages more than once while I was trying to type. I exchanged this for the same due to thinking it was a faulty single item. The replacement had an identical issue. The first one I received had other issues as well. The sound is poor on this model. I need to use a bluetooth speaker when listening to video or music. Value for money is not there. It is slow, and not only no better than, but actually inferior to other brands with similar build setups. I am returning this and buying an ASUS that will be about 40 bucks less. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this has too high a star value and people should be aware it is not a good quality item. AVOID I had an ASUS that lasted me 3 years. If I wanted to replace the battery, it would probably last me 3 more. This Acer has had an issue since the first couple of weeks. Just save your money.

Great Chrome laptop. Good price. Well worth it. Plenty of power. If you are in the market for a Chrome laptop. I highly suggest this one.

I wanted a chromebook for basic browsing and journaling. I specifically searched for a Chromebook with backlit keyboard to make typing in the dark a little easier. The item description clearly states that this unit has a backlit keyboard. I was willing to spend extra for this function. I do not feel that the price matches what you receive as this model does NOT have a backlit keyboard. The rest of the unit seems fine and functions as it should. It does have a touch screen which was not a dealbreaker for me one way or the other. I have not had great luck with the continued functionality of touch screens in the past so I do not hold much hope for this one. I have not used this enough to make an educated comment on the battery life of the unit. Connectivity to home wifi seems to be standard. The screen size is nice for watching streaming services. Instead of wiping the Chromebook, repackaging and send back to Amazon for a refund, I found a usb capable light for a reasonable cost to use when I absolutely am in need of a lit keyboard. Had I known the fuction was inaccurately described, I would have passed and continued looking for a different model. If the unit arrived as described, it would be a solid 4.5 stars. As it sits, I give 3.5 stars.
