Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Midwest Mix, Crafted to Withstand Harsh Winters and Hot Summers, 3 lbs.

I initially bought this mix because I live in the Midwest but I found that I loved the deep green of this grass seed and I have been slowly seeding my large yard with it for some time. It's pretty hardy once it gets a start as well.

It grew then died. I had to replant but it worked on the second try

I really liked that the seed was dyed blue because it made even disbursement easy to see. Now, if we just had a few good days of rain.

It's easy to use, failproof, grows extremely well. I will never buy another brand or type. Works perfectly for where I live. Highly recommend.

Used 3 different seeds in 2 areas to see which would work the best. They both failed pretty miserably.

Got this for my son and his wife who live in WI. Their grass was thin and had many "holes" where their dog played in a circle around a tree. They have overseeded and tried various grass growing products over the last 3 years. They both exclaimed, "This is the first time we actually have a lawn! Can we get some more from you?"

Sprouted in 8 days in early October in Wisconsin. Nice growth!
