Moen DN2603CH Glenshire Robe Hook, Chrome

A little tricky to get the main assembly to stay on the mounting point but easily resolved with a bit of persistence.

I didn't have much luck with the installation hardware for this hook. I've installed various other racks/holders that use the same type of hidden mounting bracket before, but this was a little different. First, the small screw underneath that you tighten once the hook is on the bracket can fall out! Anything else that I've mounted before has a screw that cannot be entirely removed. I almost lost this screw down the sink because I didn't expect it to come out. Second, it's not a regular screw - you have to use the small allen wrench that comes with it - so, insert wrench into screw, turn halfway (since you're against the wall), pull wrench out, insert again, turn... I dropped the allen wrench about 10 times during this process. Third, the bracket was actually getting dented once the screw was tightened and I could wiggle the hook with my hand and just pull it off without much effort. I had this for 3 months before I tried to mount it, so can't return it now.

After buying our house one of the first things we did was upgrade the bathrooms. We started with the master bath and adding the Moen robe hook & other matching items really enhanced the look of the room. It is installed beside the shower and we use it to hang the towels for when we step out of the shower. It is very convenient. It is well made and the quality is very good. We found with bathroom hardware you get what you pay for so we were happy to pay a little more to get something durable and attractive. We were so happy with the Moen products that we used them in the other 2 bathrooms as well.

We were looking for a modern design to hang our towels in there recently remodeled guest bathroom and this beautiful design worked great for us. Very easy to install, literally took us a few minutes and we can easily hang more than just two towels do you do the curved design of the hook. The design looks very sleek and contemporary, goes perfect with our chrome fittings. Beautifully complements our dark walls. Another great product by Moen!

While they are nice to look at, they are terribly designed and the hook does not fit well to the wall anchor piece. This could be so easily solved if the anchor piece had all of 1/8" more metal for the set screw to dig into. Unfortunately it looks like the company decided the 3 cent savings in production cost that 1/8" nets them is worth producing an inferior product. It's a robe hook, yet you cannot hang a robe on it without the thing falling off the wall. No bueno.

I just finished renovations on the bath and the robe hook is perfect; easily takes two heavy Turkish toweling robes.

This is a nice, heavy chrome hook. It kind of makes me laugh as it looks like a navy anchor, but it does the job. Very happy with this purchase - in fact, all my Moen bathroom fixtures have delivered!

This is a very nice, heavy-weight, robe hook and is a good product for a very reasonable price. I have bought several of these for bathrooms and finally even put some inside closets for p.j.s and other clothing.
