Icy Hot Smart Relief TENS Therapy Starter Kit & Refill Pads

The Icy Hot Smart TENS unit has worked exceptionally well! Its compact nature allows you to wear it anywhere under your clothing. As a clinical psychologist, familiar with the treatment of pain, this unit excels. It is about the size of a contact lens case with a larger pad the it snaps on to. The pad care be worn with comfort for days. I have found that a battery lasts at least 2 hours on full power. The unit automatically shuts off after 30 minutes which is a good length of time and allows you to wear it to bed while running that relieves the pain and my sleep has improved. The pain from my spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis of the lumbar region can be debilitating. This TENS unit has allowed y to be more active with little or no pain. I have tried acupuncture, massage, chiropractic and specific exercises. NOTHING has been as helpful as this TENS unit. It has had a very positive impact on my pain control and ability to be as active as I use to be.

I thought icy hot smart relief would be great for my back pain, but I checked with my cardiologist about using it, since I have a pacemaker. I think this product's effectiveness varies on your condition. If you want it for something like lower back pain, this might work for you if used correctly. For something like pain caused by muscle spasms, DO NOT use this product. You can cause serious damage to your body from misuse.

Well at first it worked but after a couple times it stopped working the way it's suppose to.It won't work unless you push on it now. Don't mind it but wasn't worth my money

Bought this for an aging parent who tells me the device eats a battery a day. That is an expensive diet for this gizmo so my gift will likely sit in a drawer unused.

Good for areas you can see the unit.Not good for difficult areas because you control the on and off as well as the intensity is on the unit

I purchase this Icy Hot TENS unit as separate components for myself but I want to purchase another one for a family member. This time I bought the starter kit. It works so well and my family member loves it. Again would highly recommend to anyone with chronic pain.
