Tiny GPS with Full-Featured Functionalities
I bough this cycling GPS unit a couple months ago and have been riding with it since. Now that I have some experience using it, I feel I could provide an honest review. The best thing about this GPS cycling computer is its price point. For about $100, you get all the features you find in other brands that could be priced two or three times higher. I use the Lezyne Mini as a cycling computer to primarily record ride data. In this capacity, the Lezyne Mini is superb. It has really good battery life - a full charge lasts about 10 hours. It also has plenty of memory - holds about 80 hours of ride data. It syncs up with my Stages 3 power meter to provide power and cadence readings. I have an ANT+ speed sensor but this Lezyne Mini is Bluetooth only, so I rely on the Lezyne's onboard GPS for speed and distance metrics. I can easily sync my ride data after each ride over the Bluetooth connection to the Lezyne Ally app on my phone, and the Lezyne site automatically publishes my ride to Strava. That's it. Really simple. If I have my phone with me, I usually turn on RideWithGPS to track my ride too so I can compare the data between it and those collected by the Lezyne Mini. Both Strava and RWG auto-correct the distance, speed and elevation data, and the corrected data look pretty much the same to me. I think the Lezyne GPS chip seems to actually be more accurate than my phone's, and unlike my phone, it had never dropped GPS signals during any of my rides (though my rides are mostly on open roads). As a head unit, this Lezyne Mini may or may not be for you, depending on your specific needs. If like me, you are interested in recording ride data, this will be perfect given its strong battery life and its memory capacity. But if you are looking for a unit for navigation, this may not be for you for two reasons, but the reason is not because it cannot navigate. In fact it can provide turn-by-turn navigation when it is synced up with the Lezyne Ally app on your phone during a ride, but the Lezyne Mini does not work with downloadable routes, making this suboptimal for navigation because you have to have your phone too. The second, perhaps more obvious reason why this is not ideal for navigation, is its tiny screen size. You will have a hard time reading the on-screen instructions. Also, there is no audible alert (nor vibrate or screen flashes) when the next turn comes up, which means if you take your eyes off the screen, you might miss a turn. (When synced up with your phone, the Lezyne Mini can also show notifications like emails or text messages from your phone, i.e. if you enjoy these distractions during your ride.)Leaving aside the question with navigation, some reviewers still seem to have issues with the screen size and the brightness of the display. (Except for the screen size, the Lezyne Mini is identical in function to the Lezyne Macro, so you may want to read some of those reviews too.) As for the size of the screen, I use two lines for the speed and clock on one screen, and two lines for power and cadence on the second screen. I don't have any problem reading the data and switching between the screens as some of the other reviews have complained about. You can have up to 5 screens and you can tailor what data to display on each one. I also haven't found screen brightness to be a problem for me (but to be clear, I ride mostly during the day when there is daylight, so your experience with your ability to read the display may differ depending on ride conditions). Finally, I do have three minor gripes about the Lezyne Mini, which makes me give it a 4 instead of 5 stars. First, I wish this unit comes with an altimeter so I can read the gradient, but may be that's too much to ask for at a price point like this. Second, each of the four buttons on the side of the Lezyne Mini takes a bit of pressure to actuate. Given their tiny sizes, you have to put your finger at just the right position to be able to actually press the buttons. If you do laps, you will find pressing the lap button can be a little frustrating. Finally, while Lezyne's logic behind having four buttons is pretty intuitive, during a ride I can never remember which one to push to tell it to do what I want. Perhaps Lezyne could consider putting two of those buttons on the top and bottom of the unit instead of all four on the sides, to make it a little easier on my brain. In summary, the tiny size of this Lezyne Mini cycling GPS computer can be its strength as well as its weakness, depending on what you use it for. If your goal is to find a small GPS unit to record your rides, this unit can't be beat for its price.A final point... Some reviewers say the unit is jammed so tightly into the mount that they have trouble detaching it. The secret is you need to press on the unit with a bit of force in order to turn it and disengage it from the mount. This is by design, I think, because my experience is the unit sits quite rigidly on the stem without ever rattling during any of my rides. So to detach, you have to mount it on your stem with the mount on, and then put your fingers on the top and bottom of the unit (the black edges with the white lettering) to press down and rotate it about one-eighth of a turn, in order to disengage it from the mount. I actually like the mount design. It is quite sturdy.

Great Little GPS
This is a great little GPS. This GPS is perfect for me. I've had it on my mountain bike for about 3 months so far. I’ve ridden some rough rides and the GPS hasn't failed or fallen off. I have updated the firmware a few times as Lezyne publishes the updates but updating it is very easy. Also, I did have an issue with the rubber gasket that covers the charging port, but I called Lezyne and they fixed it. They were very easy to work with. This is a fantastic little GPS for the money.

I might use this one day...
I don't really like this thing. After I saw how tiny the screen and display is I went and got a Garmin Edge 1000. This is just sitting in a cabinet and might be used one day. If you're not concerned about reading a small display and maybe only interested in how fast you're going then this could be of value but for me, I don't use it. The larger version of this might be much better but I've moved on. All of the features advertised are there as it indicates. My only complaint is the size of the display.

Nice but a tad tiny
Nice little GPS for cycling. Fulfils most expectations but sadly for me & will say I'm 56yrs old, it's just a little too small to be helpful for navigation which is one of the key features I was looking forward to utilising.Even with prescription cycle glasses the screen is just too tiny. Also turning directions can be very late when approaching junctions. For health fitness, cadence, speed etc it works fine with the caveat that the small screen isn't that legible.

Certainly very small. My only gripes are that it's a bit hard to get in and out of the clip holding it to the handlebars (but I suppose I haven't yet got the knack of twisting it out), and that the altitude change measurements are not as good as I'd hoped (but entirely consistent with the advertised precision of the GPS system). Generally speaking does exactly what I wanted.
