Good power for the money!
First chainsaw I have ever owned. Keep that in mind when you read this review.I own many different types of gas powered tools. I needed a chain saw, and while I would have preferred to buy a trusted name brand, I don't expect to use a chain saw frequently so buying this made sense.Overall impression. Good value.Reasoning below if interested.Construction is good enough, but It doesn't have that durable feel you get with a brand tool. Actually afraid of accidentally dropping it.Assembly instructions aren't great, I am mechanically inclined, but the instructions were not detailed enough for someone who has never owned a chain saw. I was able to get it assembled easy enough and surely someone with experience would know instantly what the little plastic wheel in the bag is for, but I have yet to figure it out.I like that the saw has an easy start recoil, and it starts on the second or third pull when cold, and uon the first pull when warm. The performance of the saw seems adequate. I like to break in my engines so the saw is running very rich. Even so the saw hasn't bogged down at all using about half throttle when cutting up an 12" diameter downed tree. It will definitely pick up more power when broken in and it's tuned for max power. There seems to be plenty of power and I feel like I got what I paid for. Maybe more than actually. Again I have no reference this being my first chainsaw. As far as durability. Only used couple of days so far. It would not be my first choice as a professional, but I might own one as a backup. As a homeowner needing for occasional use I would recommend it.

I am pleased
So got the chainsaw today. I was skeptical as to what the quality would be since it is Chinese and was so inexpensive. The quality out of the box was as good as a 500$ saw. Used the best gas I could. 25:1 mix with quality oil. Couple pulls and she fired right up. IMPORTANT! You should brake any engine in. I ran at idle for about 5 minutes. Then 1/2 speed for 1 minute, idle for a minute then back to 1/2 speed for one minute. Then I let her rip for 30 seconds full speed, idled a minute and repeated a couple more times. 62 cc where screaming. Hit a couple 2’ logs. The thing is a beast. I really hope this stands up long term. For $150 bucks this really could be a steal. A husky = is 500.DO NOT USE CHEAP GAS IN ANY SMALL ENGINE!!!!! Good luck hope this helps. Oh and shipping was quick, less then a week.Up date: used all weekend and even more impressed. Again this is a solid chainsaw. When starting you can feel the compression and once warm, about a 1/2 of pull fires it right up. I had no problems pulling it but an average home owner might. This was just what I need and highly recommend for folks cutting a lot of fire wood or land scapers or tree guys. It might be over kill if your not chainsaw familiar. This is a very good saw. But it’s big and powerful. Which is good for me. But mom and pop cleaning up the yard should know this saw is definitely not on the low end for first timers. Great saw.

None of my friends are impressed.
Firstly... It's a cheap saw... But it works! It fires up when it was under 10 degrees outside. If I fill the gas more than 3/4, it leaks... Seems to be hit or miss based on reviews. The listing and bar say 20"... Takes a 18" chain. Dumped oil everywhere, has to adjust it, fixed the problem. Don't touch the primer, it'll flood. A couple guys left reviews on the best way to start it... I did exactly as they said (after I did it as per the instructions) and easy start. If I set it down idling, it'll bounce down the street... I need to adjust the idle when the weather warns up.All in all, none of my friends are impressed, but I'm happy with it.

Good Saw for the Price
To start with, overall I'd say you can't beat the power for the price - that's what I was paying for. It cuts like a champ. Another plus is it doesn't leak bar oil while resting, and the air filter is easy to access and clean. The housing unit, throttle lock, choke, and stop switch are on the cheaper side, and there's no primer nub, but I'm not expecting to beat it up too much doing yard work and it did start just fine without a primer. The drive link number seems to be more on the rare side for the chains, and I can't buy a 5.12oz oil container to make a quick gallon for 25:1 fuel, but that's not such a big deal if you know how to measure. The only thing I don't particularly like about it is that when starting it you have to have the throttle locked which means the chain spins right from the get-go. I'd prefer the safety of not having the chain spin immediately, and the convenience of not having to set it down to start, but again, the bang for the buck is a good deal. Engine size, rpm, functionality and and price overrule housing materials and starting style.

Good saw with a few small issues.
Worked great right out the box. Blades are sharp and blaze thru trees.About a week after first use it didn't want to start. I took it completely apart and couldn't find any reason. Finally got it started by holding the throttle while pulling the starter. Works like that every time now but is still cutting right thru trees.*** Update *** chain was constantly getting slack. Replaced the bar and chain with American made brand and the saw just sings now!!

good cut for the price,,
Saw must be assembled. Had trouble with tensioner screw and housing. Text on instructions is very difficult to read. However, the saw starts easily. Is much quieter than my old Stihl saw. Is a bit lighter and, amazingly, is a very powerful machine, cutting through trees with ease. Delivery is a bit longer than most Amazon purchases. The chain slipped on mine twice. I just have to read the assembly book to get it correct. This is a good find for the price. It is not as polished as a saw three times the money but gets the job done.
