AT Low Port Loose Cheek Low Port Western Bit 5in

I was introduced to a similar bit by a top name brand by our trainer. She loves the style of the bit and uses it on all her horses when training and moving from the snaffle. The one she wanted me to buy was over $100. On a budge,t I bought this one. Guess what! I bought a second on! My 20+ year old gelding the kids ride was gaping his mouth and shaking his head allot. All this stopped when we started using this bit. He loves it. The second bit will be used on our other gelding when he transitions from a snaffle. This bit has all moving parts giving you great control. The center also moves! I would recommend this bit!

I'm going on 62 with nothing to prove. My goal is PLEASURE for both me and my dear 18-year old Paint. She LOVES this bit. So I bought one for my English bridle; (yup--we put a "western" bit on an "English" bridle--with SUPER results)... Listen to your horse--and do not argue with the results of this wonderful bit! :)

This is a nice bit, however be careful which item you order. There is a stainless steel version and there is a sweet iron version. The sweet iron version is the better quality bit and tends to cost a little more. I bought this bit thinking that based on the Amazon description it was the sweet iron version, and I paid the higher price as well. The order was fulfilled through State Line Tack. When I received the bit I called State Line Tack and confirmed that I had received a stainless steel bit, and that the Amazon description was not correct.

It has lots of tongue relief, a mild low port, and the shanks pick up independently for lateral control. It is a comfortable bit that definitiely enhances relaxation in my horse.

This is a nice quality bit, both sides move independantly, slightly raised in the middle for tongue relief..my one horse loved it so much by being more responsive and no fighting the bit, that I ordered another for my other horse and she loves it as well

Everything as described. My horse does not seem to throw her head with this bit. Less harsh than most bits I have come across.
