HENDUN Motion Sensor Doorbell for Business, Bed Alarm for Elderly Dementia

I needed something to alert me when my gpa gets up at night . This is perfect, easy to set up and use. I noticed I was also falling back to sleep faster instead of staying awake in case he got back up. The volume and alerts are changeable and has a flashing light. Definitely worth the money if someone in your home wanders at night or sleep walks. Would work well, for a business also. Gives you peace of mind and has good range. I’m glad I tried this first before I spent $ on a sensor mat I was looking into.

I bought this unit for use as a motion activated doorbell for my store as the one we had was way too quiet to be effective. The unit was easy to install and works perfectly; it's a great value at under $30. The chime unit can be free standing or mounted. The motion sensor can be mounted with mounting tape or screws (included) upside down sideways and has an adjustable bracket. I recommend using screws instead of the mounting tape included as the mounting tape is the standard two sided white foam type that will eventually dry up after a few years and sensor may fall. If you don't want to use screws, I would recommend you buy some 3M auto molding tape which seems to last forever and is very hard to remove. The sensor and transmitter range is fantastic and I had no trouble in my store with it (supposedly it has the range of up to just over the length of 3 football fields). I initially just put batteries in the chime and motion sensor after unboxing and installed them. The default setting is a motion activated door chime that is a loud ding dong ding dong. I did not realize that the unit had a host of other tones, features, voice you can program using the 4 buttons on the unit. I found the programming to be a bit tricky and for my use, the other features are overkill since I just needed it as a motion activated door chime. After messing with it, I found out that it has 4 volume settings. The default setting is set at the LOUDEST setting which is great for some uses. For my roughly 10,000 SQ FT store, the second volume setting is adequate if you do not have any background music playing.

Works as advertised. UPDATE : Returned this item in original packing for a better device from Amazon.

It's an excellent welcome doorbell to my business setup. Initially, upon its arrival, there was a hiccup as the sensor couldn't pair with the chime station. I got a replacement and since then, it's been smooth sailing. One of the standout features for us is the impressive range between the sensor and the chime station. We have a fairly large business space, and the fact that the chime station can be placed quite far away from the sensor without any loss of signal is a huge plus. However, one minor thing is that the sensor can be a tad too sensitive at times. It picks up motion from a quite wide range which might seem like a boon, can sometimes lead to unnecessary alerts. Nonetheless, it's a small inconvenience compared to the overall functionality and reliability of the product.

If you are looking for a security device that checks all the boxes....STOP HERE! What a really neat little safety device this set is. It can be piercingly loud, or sing a lullaby. It is inconspicuous, classy looking, and will definitely get your attention. It has bright attention grabbing lights, flashing or steady (picked by you, of course), And the best part of all, you get to set it up just exactly how you want it. I can’t believe my good fortune to find this little wonder..and did you see the price. You gotta be kidding. And then there was the unbelievable customer service provided by the company owner. I definitely am a fan, ( of theproduct, and Sunjiang, the owner of the company who personally answered my questions.). Don’t miss the boat..try these alarms. They fill the bill. Carol Davis

Use this with my mom who has dementia. Works great. Now I know if she leaves the room at night.

As other reviewers have mentioned, metal mailboxes greatly reduce the signal. We could only get it to work if the sensor was in the very front of the mailbox, but not in the back, where we wanted it placed. Our previous mailbox sensor, which we really liked, see review: ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RW69MUOA4LVCE/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B005XQYKHU ) was stolen out of our box, so we didn't want to replace it with the same type that would be easily seen/taken. We did find a workaround so that we can keep our metal box while using this sensor, which has been very effective. We mounted the sensor underneath the rear of the mailbox, as seen in the photo. The signal isn't obstructed by the box, but is triggered when the mailbox is opened by the slight shaking of the post to which it is mounted. It is aimed nearly at the ground, so it doesn't catch the motion of passing vehicles. Another advantage is that it often also notifies us when the newspaper is delivered as well. The sensor has a bright blue light, which would make it highly visible at night if activated, so we placed electrical tape over the light and the Micro USB port, as light leaks through the port. This protects the open port from the weather in addition to blocking the light. The sensor is not visible from the front of the mailbox, and with the light covered, it is not noticeable unless you look right at it. The only downfall to this mount location is that occasionally a passing dog will trigger it while marking the post.

The batteries do not connect in ghe area they are to be in. This area is TOO LARGE, & the batteries have a ‘gap’ of area, so nothing is connected as it should. I have tried to reach out to the company, but I see nothing that shows me how under the “orders page” on my Amazon page. If you read this, please reach out to me as I would like to speak to you about this issue. I do not believe I should pay for this item as it cannot possibly work thank you.

Funktioniert super

C’est fiable et prévient le vol près des portes d’entrées. Il est en fonction depuis 2 1/2 ans sans problème. Nous avons branché le tout sur ports USB. Très fiable. Je recommande

Facile a placer
