This is really helping!
I have been using this product since 11.05.22 so nearly a month now. I have to say that I have found it hugely helpful. I have suffered 'mixed' for about 4 years which ties in with what a lot of women say that it can be brought on by menopause. Anyway what began as run of the mill stress incontinence evolved into that plus the dreaded 'urge' incontinence. Now I have come to believe that stress incon is just a failing of the pelvic floor muscles due to age and probably exacerbated by the effects of pregnancy and childbirth (I have had 4 pregs and 5 children) however, the urge incon is odd. I know that at least some of that could be due to psychological reasons like I can know I need to go urgently but I'm alright right until I get near the loo and then woosh! However the problem is made up it is a huge problem that's for sure. Anyway, I can report that after nearly a month of using nearly every day, I have noticed a significant improvement. Using the MIXED program for 20 minutes a day has really helped. The overall effect on me is that I am now much more aware of my pelvic floor muscles and am now much more likely to practice the kegels at random times. The emphasis in the instruction manual is to go for strong squeezes so quality not quantity and this gizmo helps you to work to that. The part of the program the first 10 minutes that is for URGE is meant to somehow sooth these muscles I don't know how it's meant to work but it seems to because I am suffering less with this problem now. I think I can put some of the improvement down to the fact that I am much more aware of myself and my patterns of behaviour (like simply waiting too long to go) but it is this little gizmo that has helped me to become more aware. Overall I say - give it a go. Stress and Urge incontinence problems do not just go away, you have to do what you can to take back control of your bladder etc and this will help you do that. Also it is very easy to use, I use it for 20 minutes in the morning while I'm getting ready for the day then it goes back into its bag until tomorrow. No drama. Thank you for creating this TensCare. It's a really good little machine.

Excellent
Great device for helping your pelvic floor muscles. I always do my exercises anyway, but this really boosts your muscles. I do it each day whilst watching the TV in the evening so it is easy to remember. My pelvic floor muscles have become much stronger which is absolutely great. The machine is not cheap, but it is worth the investment to help with stress incontinence or to prevent stress incontinence which was the case with me. After the first month of doing it daily, you only need to do it once a week to maintain the strength in your pelvic floor muscles that you have achieved. It is easy to use, the battery life seems to last ages. It is easy to insert and when in use, is comfortable but you can feel it working. There is a big range so you can start low, and increase the strength of your muscles by increasing the intensity of the pulse. I would highly recommend this device. The only thing I would say is that I am exempt from paying VAT on medical equipment due to having a disability, but had to contact Amazon 4 times before the VAT was refunded and even then they didn't refund the VAT, they just credited me £11.80 against something else I purchased. Usually Amazon are great with their Customer service, but this was a bit of a hassle but I got there in the end.

Alternative to Tena Lady!!
I bought this device after a bit of self diagnosis and suffering with incontinence since the birth of my son. Thanks to google I believe that Ihave urge incontinence which the device claims to help, but the device also claims to help stress incontinence and can be used for faecal incontinence as well but you'd (definitely) need a different probe. Delivery was prompt and the item came in the usual Amazon packaging. Inside the box is: 1 ITens sure device 2 leads - 1 short and 1 longer one 1 vaginal probe Purple pouch Quick start guide Instruction booklet 2AA batteries The actual product is silver-coloured plastic, small and handheld -quite thick but not as long as your average mobile phone, with a blue digital screen. The long lead plugs into the device, the short lead is attached to the long lead and then plugged into the probe. There are 4 different settings - stress, urge, mixed and tone which is used for maintenance once your bits are all as they should be. I started with the urge setting for the default 20 mins at 25. The feeling is like a lifting and contracting of 'the upstairs parts of your downstairs bits' and isn't unpleasant, and doesn't feel erotic or sexual in anyway. The booklet recommends that you squeeze your muscles during the contraction so this increases the 'pull'. It's also important to empty your bladder beforehand as if not you will not be able to hold a full bladder through the programme!! After a few days use, and more reading of the booklet, I think that the urge setting is not the best for my condition as it seemed to make it a bit worse so now use the 'mixed' setting. Mixed feels similar to the urge setting but almost feels like a periods of gentle bubbling and tugging - again not uncomfortable or unpleasant. I now use the iTens every night before bed while catching up on my US dramas and have increased from 25 to 62.5. After 2 or so weeks of use, I can definitely say that the ITens has improved my PC muscles - I had recently started to wear incontinence protection (which is what prompted me to look for an alternative) but as I am in my early 30's didn't want to be wearing pads for the rest of my days. This device has significantly lessened the need for me to use the pads, and I have had 2 pad-free days so far - something that I couldn't have done as recently as 4 weeks ago, and I no longer look like a desperate maniac barrelling down the corridor towards the loo at work - I can take my time and walk normally 😀👍 and the Toilet Dance is quickly going out of fashion on my team! It is straight-forward and simple to use and doesn't feel like much of anything - as long as you don't whack it on full blast. I would recommend starting at about 25-30 and then working your way up as you become more used to the muscles being worked. I'd also recommend the use of a bit of lubricant as it helps conductivity. After use, the probe can be washed in soapy water, taking care not to get water into the socket for the leads, and the leads can be wiped with some anti-bac wipes like Milton. The little bag that it comes with is a useful addition too as everything is just popped inside after washing and hidden away in my bedside drawer, but also makes it useful for travelling with. I would recommend this device to any woman suffering from incontinence - saves on the Tena lady and even claims to help improve your sex life! Only downside is the socket on the probe is not long enough and should be longer to minimise clean up

Imcredible
I never write reviews but this device has transformed my life so wanted to share my delight with others who are struggling with urinary incontinence. Firstly thank you to all the lovely ladies who had already left reviews. I was desperate to do something about my struggles and didn’t know where to turn. But having read the reviews I was encouraged to give it a go. My problem is urge incontinenece. No warning, suddenly have to pee and absolutely no control, often emptying my whole bladder which even the biggest pads would not hold. Having to wash myself and my clothes 2-3 times a day, scared to go out and extremely embarrassed, trying to hid my problem from my husband, friends and family. It all started after the birth of my son (now 22). He was a very normal vaginal delivery but would have the occasional accident. I started seeing a physiotherapist and frequent pelvic floor exercises (I wish I had started these prior to pregnancy), however when I fell pregnant with my daughter the treatment stopped. I was much the same after her arrival (another simple and easy delivery). I hit the menopause at 45 and my bladder control deteriorated rapidly ….. frequent leaks, occasional flood and some stress incontinence to add to the mix. Too embarrassed and ashamed I did not seek medical help and tried to carry on as normal, hiding my problem. 4 months it’s ago I was seriously ill , had emergency surgery and spent several weeks in ITU during which I was catheterised. Once I began to recover and it was removed I had total loss of bladder control, mainly of the urge variety. I have been devastated and nearly 3 months after leaving hospital I decided to do something about it. Lots of research followed and discovered some very expensive devices…… but thought this very reasonably priced and mainly good reviews. I have only been using it for 5 days and it has transformed my life. Since starting I have only had 2 floods and a couple of small leaks. I have been too scared not to wear pads but most days have been dry. Today I went out for12 hours, including a 1 hour train journey each way, Padless and dry for the whole time. I am Absolutely amazed how quickly this has started to work for me. It’s been like a miracle. I started at 20 mins on the urge programme at 35, gradually building up to 30 mins on 50 tonight. Comfortable and easy to use. Here’s to the new me. Can’t wait to see if it makes any difference to intimacy. Please please please ladies do not struggle and do not suffer in silence. Get this and regain control in so many ways.

Didn't work for me
I bought this appliance just over 6 months ago and have used it daily as recommended since. I am a 68 year old male. I have a slightly enlarged prostate which I consulted my GP about and for which I take saw palmetto. I have an urge to urinate frequently, but relative to how much liquid I drink, which comes on quickly and it has been difficult for me to hold on. I get up usually once a night feeling the need to pee. This has been my situation for several years now. I consulted the manufacturer about how best to use this devise and followed their instructions. The expectation from the manufacturer was that I should see an improvement from between 2 weeks and 2 to 3 months. I haven’t! The anal probe has proved very painful to use and I could only tolerate it on a very low setting which I think had no benefit as it was too low. The machine gives a very acute pain in my anus and creates little in the way of muscle contraction which is the whole purpose. So I mainly used the pads which do give muscle contractions and I can easily use at full power. It may be that what ever causes my urination problems is outside the range of benefit from this machine. However, the use of the anal probe is so painful to make this a non-viable means of treatment for me. Also there is hardly anything about the use of the anal probe in the instructions and I had to request this be emailed to me separately which I think is a bit poor given the specifity of the device. The people at TENS were very helpful and reassuring but in the end, (no pun intended), I didn’t get the result I was hoping for. On the plus side the batteries last and last and I haven’t had to replace them and full power is still maintained. The self adhesive pads last a very long time as well if carefully looked after. Occasionally the machine changes the setting itself from the program required. Otherwise it appears robust and well made, just not effective for me. I can not therefore make any recommendation here.

Waiting for results!
I have only had this device for a short amount of time so I will only review my first impressions and update on the effectiveness later. I was hesitant based on the price, I thought it was expensive but figured if it works it would be well worth it (and was hopeful it would be of high quality!). Upon receiving it I was disappointed to realise that the node would have to be replaced approximately every 6 months. I also thought the machine itself was a bit flimsy in parts (battery cover could be better), but nothing too worrisome because I was the only one using it! The cord that attaches the node to the machine is a bit flimsy too (if you wear underwear while using it I think it could kink the wires to the point of breaking over time!). It is very easy to use (as far as setting the intensity and which program BUT getting the device in the perfect position so that it works without hurting can be a bit hit and miss! Sometimes I nail it and it works without a hitch, other times it is quite uncomfortable until I get it in just the right spot. One tip I have is to always start off at a fairly low setting each time just to make sure it feels right! You could be climbing the walls (not in a good way lol) if you have it up high and it is not quite right! The intensity can feel different too, because it runs on batteries I think that affects it's consistancy but with a bit of tweaking it's fixed! I am excited about this product! At the end of the day I can feel it working my muscles and it is something I have been using almost every day! Twenty minutes or so "alone time" is doable and the machine does the work for you (I do the exercises along with the machine because you can really feel which muscles to use!). Here's hoping I see results and I will update in a couple of months!

Brilliant! Worth every Penny !
I’ve struggled from stress incontinence and most recently urge incontinence for several years . I’ve had my eye on this machine but could not really afford it . Over the last few months I’ve developed severe urge incontinence and 3 different types of antibiotics has not helped and neither has herbal ones . GP not interested and says pelvic floor excersises but I just forget or can’t be bothered . I started using this machine 4 days ago. First 3 days I never felt much sensation but they reassured me I would, it just takes time to strengthen my muscles . Day 4 and I can feel it although it’s on high . Today was the first day that I was not running to the loo . I noticed that it’s important to position it just right , not to high or low . I put it on “urge” programme for an hour each night when I’m relaxing in bed . I only ever write reviews if things are really bad or really good . Don’t put it off buy one - life changing for me x

Really works!!!
Really works! 5 stars I've been dealing with bladder weakness since having my second child last year. It got to the point where I'd avoid going out for coffee with friends because I was constantly worried about leaks. Even sneezing became a source of anxiety! After trying various pelvic floor exercises without much success, my GP suggested the TensCare iTouch Go. I was skeptical but desperate. The device was surprisingly easy to use. I followed the instructions and used it daily while watching TV. By the end of the second week, I noticed I wasn't rushing to the toilet as often, and I could actually laugh without crossing my legs! It's not a miracle cure - I still have occasional issues - but the improvement has been significant enough to make daily life much less stressful. The battery lasts well, and it's discreet enough to use without anyone noticing. Worth every penny for the confidence, it's given me back.
