Has simplified checkout process. A bit spendy but worth it. Functions well to process all my Square needs. Fits in your hand and ease of handing off to customers to pay. Looks clean and professional. Great for small business

Name the POS we've tried it. Lightspeed. NCR. Shopify (the worst). A few others over the years. Square is bullet proof when speed matters. This is the finest of their handheld machines. The scanning is not with a camera which makes it super fast. The camera ones are awful (I'm looking at you shopify). I didn't think I could love a POS system until I used this thing. You can keep it in your pocket. It's light. You can print to a common receipt printer or issue e-receipts. It is great. Get the protective case. It won't handle getting dropped. Cracked the screen on one of these in the first week. We bought cases and haven't had any break since. If your square account is doing decent sales (I think the Square site says above $250K), you might be able to get one for "free." You have to agree to a 2 year plan but if you bail, you pay a prorated amount for the device. I love that I can get replacements quickly on Amazon or Best Buy stocks them if I need it really quick!

I absolutely love this. Its small and easy to carry around. I had to upgrade from my old square stand. 😢 I hate learning new tech. But this was so simple and easy peasy. 🤭😍🫰 I'm very happy with this as my new POS system for all of my small business needs. Online or offline! Square does it best!

These is perfect for a small business. I went back and forth with other brands. This was as exactly as described. The price was in my budget. I would recommend this.

Made life easy in new greenhouse business! Fast and easy for me! Will be nice as we transition to farmers market being on the go.

It ok. Just got to play with it. There hidden fees when you charge the card and there's also a fee for transferring your charge to your bank account. For $300 charge i had to pay almost $20 in fee to get the money to my bank account. So i end up less then my full amount. The instructions is very vague on how to use the reader. Have to play with it. But is great when you are on the go by using the Hotspot.

Easy enough. I bought this as an upgrade from the Square Terminal. This Handheld version seems just as heavy as the terminal, and is definitely heavier than my iPhone 17. It works just as easily as the terminal. I disabled the barcode scanner because I won’t use that. I do end up hitting that button expecting it to turn off the screen which is slightly annoying because I get a popup message asking if I want to turn on the barcode scanner again. Some better placement of that button would be nice but I guess that is a major function of the scanner so it’s just my problem to get accustomed to. Worth the money because I got it on prime day sale and was only $60 more than the old Terminal model.

Update: i contaced square and they were able to create an update to fix the internet issues. If you get issues with an ip contact them and they will fix it right away. Changed my rating from 1 to 5 stars because of the customer service! Constant issues with connecting to the internet. Spend more time trying to get it connected than using it
