For Dell Inspiron N5010 Replacement LAPTOP LCD Screen 15.6" WXGA HD LED DIODE (Substitute Replacement LCD Screen Only. Not a Laptop)

Ordered this to replace a damaged LCD in a clients Notebook. Spoke to Screentek before placing order to insure it would fit the Dell Inspiron 1545. I was going to order another LCD that they were selling for $52.95, but the price jumped to $59.95 before i was ready to place my order.Screentek couldnt tell me who the screen manufacturer was, but said it should be either Samsung, LG or another name i hadnt heard of before. I ended up with a Samsung screen. It was packed well in bubble wrap and looked brand new. The laptop fired up and looked as good as the last time i had serviced it.After reading through some the reviews for this screen and a few others, i was hesitant to order any of them due to the seemingly bogus and most likely planted reviews. Really now 15 minuets and its so easy to replace are not anywhere near the truth. I have been doing PC and Laptop repair for close to 20 years and it took me 1 1/2 hrs from start to finish. If i just rushed my way through it, i might have been able to do it a little quicker, but no way will you have this done in under an hour.I wouldnt just google for the instructions or watch some Youtube video, go to Dells website and download the service manual for your model and follow it closely. I use an Ice cube tray with all the compartments numbered. I then write down where the screws come from. This makes it so much easier and faster to reinstall everything and make sure the right screws go in the right places.If your not careful, its easy to snap off plastic hinges or break cable connections etc.If you have done similar work or are the fix it type, you should be able to do it.

I received the panel yesterday and promptly installed it to see if it worked. I was a bit worried about how the packaging would be for a bare LCD panel but this one came double boxed and wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap. The panel itself was without flaw and appeared to be an exact replacement of the LCD used in the Dell Inspiron 15R (N5010) laptop. If you've got a laptop worth reviving...dont hesitate.

i bought this product almost a year ago because i could not afford to buy a new laptop and decided to refurbish the one I had. At the date of writing this it is still functional....how ever it has recently decided to show a thin vertical line that looks like random scrambled pixels near the center of the screen. This is not really a con to me as the screen has not only saved me money i did not have to replace a laptop but has also served me under extreme use over the last year, and when i say extreme i mean never being turned off no power save setting and the screen does not turn off when the lid is shut.Great product as advertised saved me money on replacing a laptop and functioned well over a year of extreme use. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a replacement LCD screen for their DELL Inspiron N5010. As a side note it might be worth mentioning the seller of this item was MLC Distribution, Inc. and i would also recomend anyone to do business with them as they have sold me a rock solid product at an affordable price.

Dropped my laptop while it was open and cracked the screen. Bought this one and found a video on YouTube to install it. What a relief. Not ready to buy a new laptop. This product worked great and was easy to install. Worth the money.

I purchased an identical screen several years ago for this model laptop, but this new screen I just purchased is about 50% level less in brightness at 100% settings. I've increased the brightness at the BIOS level and have gone through power settings and screen settings to ensure it is at 100%; slider is full max level. I already removed the plastic layer covering.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5150. Screen had horizontal lines I had to tap or hit the screen to fix. Bought this after watching a YouTube video on how to replace. It was a BREEZE! I had my son help me, took a few minutes only. Getting the snap on frame around the screen off was the most difficult part, a couple clips broke. Getting the old screen off and new one in was very easy and I wish I had done this a LONG time ago. I was considering replacing the laptop altogether as this was getting old but I also upgraded the RAM last year so It's still working great. Definitely worth the $48 instead of taking it to the Geek squad. Do it yourself.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this LCD screen as a replacement for my Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop because Amazon lists this product as "by Dell" while on Dell website the replacement screen is listed for $149. Given this price was less than one third I thought of giving it a try. As I thought it is not sold by Dell Computers. But arrived quickly. I could replace it in less than 15mins including studying the lcd screen replacement tutorial available in youtube which is about 7mins. Amazed with the quality and my laptop now looks much better than when I bought new from Dell. Waited this long to make sure it lasts prior to rating it. Over 9 months and still going strong...

I bought this screen after the original in my Inspiron 15R had cracked. Great price, crisp images, looks like new again. The screen works fine and is completely compatible (unlike what Dell CSR will tell you). I am happy with the purchase and, doing it myself. Just have to be careful with the (golden) video connector and the circuitory since it is very delicate. Saved me a bunch since Dell was charging an obnoxious amount to replace it.
