Franklin Sensors ProSensor MAX Stud Finder with 13-Sensors, Wood & Metal Stud Detector/Wall Scanner, Scans Through Plaster, Tile & More

This is a big chunky mutha! I had no idea how big this thing was till it arrived. I've had a few other models of their stud finders and they are the best out there. This seems to work even better than the others. Only neg is it will take up a lot of space in the tool bag!

J'avais déjà acheté un appareil de cette marque, moins perfectionné (moins de capteurs) mais les résultats étaient très moyens. A noter que si l'on souhaite retrouver les montants bois derrière du bac acier cette fois-ci, ça ne fonctionne pas. L'investissement en vaut la peine.

I've been using Franklin Sensors stud finders for years. I originally purchased the standard version, which served me flawlessly for several years. When the first Pro model with live wire detection was released, I upgraded and used that until I unfortunately misplaced it. After seeing the new ProSensor MAX, I decided to upgrade again, and it's easily the best version they've made. The biggest improvement is the increased number of sensors. Combined with centerline detection, it provides an even clearer picture of exactly where the stud begins, ends, and where the center is. It also retains all of the features that made the previous models so reliable, including no calibration and fast, accurate scanning. Accuracy is where this tool really stands out. I've tried dozens of stud finders over the years, and nothing else has been as consistently reliable. The wide sensor array dramatically reduces false positives and missed studs, even on more challenging surfaces. Being able to see the full width of the stud instead of relying on a single indicator makes it much easier to mark your drilling location with confidence. Speed is another major advantage. Since there's no calibration step, you simply place it on the wall, press the button, and start scanning. The visual display updates instantly, making it quick to trace studs across large sections of drywall, plaster, ceilings, tile, and other surfaces. It saves a surprising amount of time on both small and large projects. Ease of use is excellent. The Pro MAX is noticeably larger than the previous models, which could be a downside if you're looking for something compact. However, considering the additional sensors packed inside, the larger size is completely understandable and well worth the tradeoff for the added performance. Bought this to locate the studs in Scandinavian timber frame walls and it works like a charm! Love how it instantly shows the full width of the beam without any annoying calibration. Saved me so much time. Definitely worth every penny!

I bought this one, as another different type I bought was terrible at finding studs, however the Franklin was superb finds the studs everytime, this saved me a lot of time, best buy I've made
