What is the expiry date of these candies? i know that they are crazy delicious when fresh and terribly dry when old. so before i order i need to know

Does not come in manufacturers packaging, only in a clear bag like its from bulk. Cannot read the ingredients but it has a strong peanut butter smell and flavor.

Great Russian candies

Used to eat them in Moscow, somehow here they are even better: fresh and tasty. Among American candies they could be compared with peanut butter cups. Try them if you wish to have a taste of a Russian sweet.

Not fresh, old candies

I bought these candies 2 times. First time it was not super fresh, but still was ok and eatable. Second order is terrible. People, seller, why can’t you be honest? Don’t you understand you are loosing lotal customers by doing this? No more orders

Bag of 16... Fresh as we've got

These are my wife's favorite candy (and I like them too).We have relatives living in Ukraine who bring this halva whenever they visit and a local Russian grocery store that carries them. I've been reluctant to order this from Amazon because of the negative reviews mentioning issues with freshness.Unfortunately, I was faced with the perfect storm of no visits in a while, the store being out of stock, and Valentine's Day, so I turned to Amazon. They did not let me down.I placed my order on Friday, and the halva was delivered two days later. They package it as 16 individually wrapped pieces in a sealed plastic bag. The candy is as fresh as we've had, either directly from Ukraine or the local store. And while it's a bit less expensive at the store, there are savings of time and effort.I think after this, I'll be relying on Amazon as my primary US supplier of my wife's favorite candy. And thanks to our newly found availability, I won't feel so bad about sneaking pieces of it from her stash.

Good as always

When I lived in VA I was able to get these at a local Ukrainian store. Sadly I moved and only visit every few years. Been craving them and was delighted to see them on Amazon. This isn't your typical halva! It's more like Reese and butterfinger had a child. The package I got had about 16 pieces with a clear expiration date of September 2024 ( I ordered in October 2023). I will definitely ordered again!!

Overpriced for the quality

It was just OK for the price I have paid. Does not have an intense flavour of halva. The chocolate glaze is not impressive either. Expected much better taste.

Russian Chocolate Glazed Halva

This was very good. Reminded me of a soft butterfinger bar. Though I could not make out the ingredients so I probably won't buy this again.
