I have a very hard time in the heat, especially if I have to be in the sun for very long. I get terrible headaches and just feel sick. However, I love going to concerts, and if it's an outdoor show, that often means doing just that. I bought these for a music festival I was attending. The temperature was in the upper 80s each day. The first day I carried these along with me, but we had to walk a long way to get into the concert and get our chairs set up, and then the water station was a long way off. I was miserable before I ever got the towels wet. Then I discovered that sitting out in the sun like that, they dry quite quickly. They may only be efficiently wet for 30 minutes or so. The next day I got much smarter about the whole thing. The towels come in their own plastic pouches. So before I left the hotel, I wet all of them, squeezed out most of the excess water, but not all of it, folded them and put them back in their pouches. I kept one out and went ahead and draped it over my neck and headed out. As each became dry, I put it away and got out a new wet one from my bag, then went to re-wet all of them at once when the last one was becoming dry. I didn't feel sick or get a headache the entire day. I can't say enough good things about these towels if you have to be outside in the heat!

Nice to buy a multi pack for back up because they don't last a long time, but do keep you cool for a decent amount of time. Add ice to your back up cloth so that you can switch them out over the period of time you need to stay cool. Plan on taking them to an outdoor event where the weather will be close to 100 degrees.

I kept two towels and gave two to my daughter they help with her migraine headaches.

I got heat exhaustion (dizzy, cold, not sweating, throwing up) in the middle of an 11-mile hike at Yosemite. I dampened this towel in the river and put it around my neck. It stayed cold and wet all the way back. Lifesaver! The pouch it comes in is study and waterproof. It could be used for a lot of different things, and the carabener is a great addition! Each towel comes in it's own pouch with its own carabener. I use one of the carabeners on my keys so I can clip them to my backpack. Great quality all around.

Right off the bat, when taking out theses four cooling towels, I was amazed how well packaged they were. Each towel comes with a different color and has its own zip lock bag with a carabiner on it. Very nice for clipping it to the side of your backpack. The bag itself is water proof, so storing it away is very nice due to the size. I was able to even put my keys and phone in there as well if I wanted to and the seal is very sturdy.I was able to keep cool for 2 and half hours while fishing northern Cali with these towels before adding more water and ringing it out. The towels are very thin but long enough (40x12) that you can wrap it around your neck or tie it to your head. It is very soft to the touch. Make sure that when wipe yourself with theses towel to wipe on the inner side, not the side with the colors and the small holes. There is a noticeable difference of smoothness.

These were bought for our Disney backpack and we USED THEM!! Went to Disney in the summer and they were a life saver keeping the kids happy and adults cool! We will be using them at all of our sporting events as well from now on! They were perfect. We put them in a ziploc with ice and small amount of water in the AM and let them they cold all day and easy to get cold again by just redipping them! Wash nicely afterwards.

We used this hiking in Zion, it was during the heatwave and was over 110. These kept us cool. Worth every penny. I’m actually grateful for them because I don’t think we would have survived our hike without them. Only had to get them wet maybe twice. It lasted a long time and honestly probably would last longer on regular hot days, not in such extreme heat. Won’t regret this.

We took these on a road trip to 4 national parks. We hiked in 90-100 degree heat several times. These worked really well. I have low heat tolerance, walking in 80 degree heat is too hot. But with these I was able to do hikes and not get over heated. I don’t get how people say they don’t work, like what their expectations were, but these were great.

My husband and children used these a lot in Florida in August. We would certainly recommend.
