Original Review: Purchased in May of 2023. I was going to rebuild my original carburetor (for the second time) on my 12 year old Rigid pressure washer when I read somewhere that it was easier to just replace it. Remembering all the trials and tribulations on the carb last rebuild, I thought, for $20ish I’ll give a new one a try. As always, removing the old carb was a PITA due to the physical location on the Rigid pressure washer. Once the new carb was installed (prob took 20 mins total) the motor fired up on the first pull and ran perfectly. Don’t waste your time with a rebuild, just buy a new one and save a load of time and energy.+1 Year Update: After over a year of use, it’s still starting on the first pull almost every time. The key to keeping these working:1. Make sure you always turn the gas line off to the carb and run the motor until it runs out when finished2: Never leave gas in the tank for more than a month or so. Fresh fuel is the key to a happy carb!I recommend this product.

I bought this Carburetor for my Ex17 subaru 6hp engine on my go kart because the original carb was bad. I bought this one because OEM carbs are over $100. 1 gasket out of the 3 came ripped. The gaskets are very poor quality. I installed the carb with the ripped gasket and the engine wouldn't run correctly, so I decided to make my own gaskets out of some gasket material. Once I installed the carb with the new gaskets the engine started up easy and Idled correctly.

this looked exactly the same as the original. You'll have to transfer the arm that moved the choke cog on top. I'm writing this primarily to help others figure out the gaskets which it does come with a couple others. my pictures show the old carb with it's gaskets and the new carb with the correct gaskets. You'll have to round out the large hole in the gasket that connects to the air intake where the choke is. I took a better picture of how i just rounded out the opening. The comparison picture shows how it's originally flat at the bottom. Nothing an exacto knife didn't take care of.
