Best flash speedlight i ever purchased
I am a professional photographer and i use flash a lot. I have more than 3 of these at any time with me for my photoshoots. I have purchased the most expensive ones earlier and when they die, man that hurts. I was looking for cheaper and best options and this is the one that caught my eye. I took a chance as this is lot cheaper than the one that i had earlier. Believe me, this is the best product i purchased. It comes with accessaries that you need buy for the name brand ones. They cost a lot of money. I was so surprised when i saw this product. It works perfectly and honestly i cant make any difference between this and expensive name brand ones.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good flash speedlight. You will not be disappointed. It comes with a bag and diffuser too. Nicely packed. Have multiple options on the flash. Can be used as master or slave. I will provide an update after some usage. I am sure this is going to last for long.

Excellent for the price!
If I keep it set at the lowest power setting (1/128), it makes beautiful flash pictures inside of my house. I imagine that the higher power settings are for longer distance shots. I wish that the power setting could be controlled by the camera to be what it needs for the situation.UPDATE JUNE 27:The seller explained to me that this model doesn't support TTL, which is what I need in order for the camera to set its shutter speed correctly based on the flash's added light. They offered to exchange for the other flash and I accepted.

Amazing Flash / Amazing Support and Customer Service
The ESDDI Flash Speedlite far out performed my expectations. I am by no means an expert photographer but the results I achieved using this flash clearly have improved my shots. This is my third flash at this price point and one might say you get what you pay for but FINALLY I've found one that performs just as well as the $200-300 Canon gear. It's made of sturdy material and comes with a case with storage for the remote and extra batteries. This vendor has 5 star customer services as well. I needed some assistance and reached out for help - I received a very quick response with links to videos and useful tips on set up and operation of the flash.

A very decent flash unit for the money!
My honest review (got this model from Seller to test the functionality):This flash is a bare minimum unit, where we cannot zoom or attach any external power source, etc. This unit works fine for small areas and with limited distance between the subject and camera. The guide number is low, but for that price it is good. It works fine. I'll post some pictures when I get chance. I tried in a big restaurant with high ceiling and orange color walls, outside on the street in the dark and they came out pretty good. I used D750 and tried on camera and also tried off camera as a slave for hair light. The color temperature was consistent, I still need to test under various conditions. This one was able to hold Magmod's bounce and sphere pretty good even at an inclined angle than other brand units I have. Overall I recommend this if you are a beginner or want to have some basic one as a kicker or for hair light. Even as a main this is a good unit for a small room and price is pretty affordable. Full power flash recharge cycle is bit slow. Material built is better than other similar affordable brand models.Cons:cannot attach any external power source.

Great first flash or as an addition
As a beginning photographer, I needed something that was easy to learn and use while allowing me to learn the basics. I love this flash for that purpose. It has a simple interface and will allow you to adjust settings quickly and easily. You can adjust the flash from full power down to 1/128, and increments in between each exposure level just as you would expect from other flash units. I was concerned the standby mode would be too short and require me to wake the unit after tweaking camera settings, like some other brand units, but I did not have a problem. Also, there is no beep during inputs which makes for a quiet, non-distracting unit. I also purchased ESDDI's PLF-650 flash unit, which has more features but required more time for me to learn. I really like using them together.

Great flash for great price.
Let me start by saying this is my first universal flash. I have been a professional photographer for 16 years. Working for multiple magazines, and pro-teams. One of my biggest issues has been, having my equipment broken during the media stampedes. When everyone is pushing to get the best shot. Replacing flashes with brand name equipment gets really expensive. So, I decided to give this flash a shot.Pro:Wow, the price. Are you kidding me, for less than 1% of the cost of brand name, I can have this flash. It is very well made. I was expecting a poorly assembled flash, but it is actually very well made.It actually works. And works really well. Now there is a learning curve. If you are used to using Nikon or Cannon flashes l, you are in for some testing and learning. There are also really nice accessories that come with the flash: like a defuser and stand. Very useful.Cons: now, you do get what you pay for. This flash is really simple. Do not expect, it to be full of features.Flash doesn’t recognize when you zoom.If your camera has a built in flash, it will try to open it, the shoe is universal, so the camera doesn’t recognize the flash. While the flash will work and work fine, it will still try to pop the built in flash up.Overall, I am very happy with this flash. I plan on buying a few more. The price is the main selling point, but the quality of the flash makes this an amazing buy.

Spend more money and buy the TTL flash.
This might be ok if you are shooting in a studio, where you could set it once and not bother. If you are really old school from the time of all manual cameras and don't mind constantly tweaking the flash as the distance to the subject and angle of the bounce changes it might work for you as well. But for normal person this is just too much work.Next issue is the recharge time with four batteries it should be quick, but as the charge drops it does start to take close to full 5 seconds for a full recharge. It also ate through two sets of batteries in about 400 shots, so for an event I would imagine you could need at least 12 batteries.
