RYOBI R18HVF-0 One Plus Cordless Hand Vac Floor Care Kit, 18 V, Hyper Green

The impetus for this purchase was the mess around my coffee machine, grounds akimbo every time I use it - my girlfriend brushed it up with an unused hand brush, making me laugh and leading down the road of cordless hoovers.I already have Ryobi tools and batteries so while I know this isn't the best design for a cordless hoover it is fine for spot jobs and a far better machine at the price point than what you'd get otherwise, First note there, like many tools in the range, it performs notably better with a 4ah instead of a 1.3ah battery, not a shock and given how it goes through them, makes sense - speaking of - this can get a set of stairs plus all the odd little spots about the house done because you naturally knock it off between actions - that's because it's a hell of a lot louder than you'd expect.Emptying is easy and it'll need a fresh filter eventually, which is to be expected - suction drops dependant on what you're sucking up but emptying regularly isn't a chore.Overall, this isn't the thing to get you in to ryobi, but if you want a cordless hoover for small spots and minor cleanup it'll certainly do what you want, it'll even manage a zip of the stairs and didn't react badly to brick dust either.

It sucks up most dust and hair etc. and is very light weight. But it is quite noisy! But a very useful addition to my Ryobi tools collection. Good price too! JD

I got this for smaller jobs in a small work room where dragging the hoover upstairs is a pain. I wasn't expecting very much as past equivalents have just been rubbish.As a few others have mentioned it is quite loud, much louder than our standup vacuum. Also suction isn't great but it's more than enough for the small jobs it's intended for like crumbs and bits of grass dragged in from outside. For these small jobs it's more than powerful enough and the extra tip help get into all the corners.Battery life seems reasonable, I've yet to run out on my 2Ah battery through adhoc use. However this does get shared between a few tools so It does get charged before a bigger jobs with those.The floor kit is actually surprisingly decent, and means a quick clean round the table or kitchen happens rather than leaving it until the big vacuum comes out. The mount is quite small though so may not be super durable or last well but time will have to tell on that one.

Physical vacuum is good for small mess. I use it in the shed so handy for wood dust etc. The pole is too flexible so really don't lean on it. Also the head nerds some brushes or rubber strips to create proper suction when in use

Excellent Vacuum for small areas like cars or Caravans, the extension tube enables cleaning in difficult to reach areas that the cleaner would be unable, otherwise to reach.Suction is good, but reduces quite quickly as the filters block up, but a quick brush off and power returns.Be aware the Battery does not come with this Vacuum as it is sold as an accessory to the Ryobi One+ range, the above comments are based on the use of the 18V 4.0Ah Battery, which I found had plenty enough charge to clean my estate car after a holiday in the Lakes with our dog. Therefore I feel this is an excellent product but if you don't have the batteries, the cost rises significantly.

Where do I start? Speak my mind I suppose - IT IS USELESS.It has an unusually small dust filter which clogs up very quickly reducing suction power to virtually zero before the dustpan is even a quarter full.When you unclip the dustpan to empty it, its awkwardly tapered shape, together with its smooth slippery surface, makes it difficult to hold onto and very easy to drop spilling the dust all over the place. So you end up getting the big vacuum cleaner out anyway to suck up the whole sorry mess.To add insult to injury the nozzle fitting has a stupid half oval shape so the brush holder wobbles in the cleaner body when in use and eventually falls out if you don't hold it in. Altogether a classic example of bad design and extremely irritating to use.I am amazed that Ryobi put this on the market - I have a whole range of high quality Ryobi gear and this doesn't belong in it. It was returned.

The plastic head bit that goes on the floor needs brushes adding or something like that, because as currently designed it just pushes dirt around the floor - you need to lift it up and place over the dirt in order to get the dirt and vacuum together.Doesn't suck great (considering I was using a 18v 5ah batter I was hoping for a decent suck), and the filter clogs up quickly too.When using without the head attachment and after cleaning the filter, it works pretty well and is definitely light and easy to carry, hence 2 stars.

Good vacuum and worth the money for it and all the accessories

Wir haben den Sauger bestellt, um die Hundehaare von der Treppe und aus dem Auto zu saugen. Dazu nutzen wir entweder keine Düse oder den Bodenaufsatz ohne Verlängerungsrohr. Mit Verlängerungsrohr ist die Saugkraft nicht ganz optimal, aber wir nutzen es sowieso nicht. Als Handsauger ist er deutlich besser als alle Handsauger, die wir zuvor hatten. Er hat als Handsauger eine super Saugkraft. Wenn man jedoch das lange Saugrohr benutzt und seinen normalen Staubsauger damit ersetzen will, muss man schon deutliche Abstriche in der Saugkraft machen...

Puntos negativos:-Hacer mucho ruido;-Con la batería se vuelve un poco pesado;Puntos positivos:-Excelente potencia de succión para una computadora portátil (la uso para aspirar el sótano / garaje con el tubo incluido debido a su portabilidad)- Excelente autonomía con una batería de 4.0 Ah;- Al contrario de lo que dice una opinión aquí, este Ryobi es compatible con cepillos de otras aspiradoras siempre que tengan 32 mm de diámetro.Conclusión: estoy muy satisfecho
