Stays cool
Works like a charm, doesn't buzz. I hooked it up to power 12 under-mount cabinet lights that weren't technically supposed to be dimmable with the DC converter it came with. This guy was able to get me 50% dim, but I honestly don't think that is a downfall of the triac, some LED lights just can NOT be dimmed to zero. Can't fault this triac dimmer for not fixing something that plagues the entire LED community at large.Each light is 36 volts, I had this right up to capacity. The lights got hot hot hot, but I think they were overdriven, again, not the triac's fault. I'm not going to leave the dimmer at 100% ever. Anyway, the driver stayed cool after 24 hours of 100% continuous usage. Also, plenty cool when dimmed to 50%.Only thing I wish it had were some included wire nuts.

Works just as advertised.
I run it at 3/4 of its rating (amps) and it has worked perfectly for a month now. While it gets warm, it does not get hot and the aluminum case helps dissipate the heat.

Needs cord longer with cord cap.
Did not like not having a cord cap on one end as previous models did and the cord was only about a foot long. Way to much work to modify it and add cord and cord cap. Super Lame. For under cabinet tape lights.

Great dimming all the way to black.
I like the way it dimmed all the way to off without flicker. I used it for led tape on a dmx chandelier I made.
