Replaced old dying fluorescent fixture with this, uses the same 3 wires. Easy and super bright.

Finally decided to replace the 3 eight foot fluorescent fixtures in my garage because I was tired of replacing bad bulbs and really tired of the darn buzzing noise. I had shopped around a bit for some LED replacements and happened upon these. Mine arrived well packaged with no damage (some had reported some shipping damage). I did the install by myself with two ladders and some ingenuity. The lights seem to be high quality (even the connection wires were "tinned"). Very happy with my purchase and the amount of light these lights provide. The light is not harsh like some LEDs can be and they seem to be true to the claim of "daylight" color/hue (no expert on that). The only thing I would recommend is that if you are installing them attached to a ceiling like I did screwing into studs, use washers. The aluminum backing material of the light is pretty thin and if you use normal sized screws that have normal sized heads, there is a chance they will pull through the aluminum backing. That's okay, washers are inexpensive. I have 10 foot ceilings in my oversized three car garage and 3 of these lights provide plenty of light to the space (with no buzzing!).

Easy mounting and very bright like daylight.

I purchased 6 of these light fixtures for a new work shop (24' x 30'). They were a lot less expensive than other light fixtures that I considered. If you have the space and need the light, it's less work to install a 8' fixture vs. two 4' fixtures. No problems at all after 2 months so I really don't know how reliable they'll be after they go through a few cold winters and hot summers with high humidity thrown in the mix.Very pleased so far. They really light up the shop.

I had a two bulb fluorescent fixture in my detached shed. I had to replace bulbs a couple of times, no big deal, until one day it would not light up, even after replacing both bulbs. Ballast is shot, I figured, so I took it apart and brought it to Home Depot. The gentleman there laughed at me and said they don't even make those any more, so I was stuck with no light. With winter approaching, I knew I needed to do something, but most of the fixtures I found either mounted by hanging from chains, or were powered by plugging in to an outlet. I needed direct flush mount and hard wired. This AntLux light fit the bill, so I ordered it. Box was damaged when it arrived but unit looked okay so I hooked it up, and it works perfectly! It takes a second to come on, which gave me a panic attack first time I turned it on, but once on, it is nice and bright, brighter than the old fixture.My only complaint is more about my abilities than with the unit: the hard wires wire nutted to the wires of the unit droop down and lay against the plastic, casting a shadow in the otherwise uniform light. I may take the cover off and try something to keep the wires up against the top metal body of the unit.

Very bright works extremely well. It was placed in my garage for extra lighting and replacing the tube type fluorescence I used to have.

Made In China! Need I say more. The materials used are very low end, with flimsy gauge steel construction etc. We have to get away from having so many products made there for USA consumption, but the price is obviously what drives consumers to buy from China.I ordered 12 of these lights for a home under new construction in a large garage. All of the lights lit up and seemed to perform well initially. Time will tell if these lights will make it to the 5 year warranty timeline, so that remains to be seen. The lights look okay, but the flimsy construction does not result in a top of the line custom home type appearance after install. If this were not in the garage of the home, I would certainly send them back for a full refund.UPDATE ALERT: After only 2 weeks following installation, there is already a failing LED strip in one of the lights (I have attached a photo). After seeing the lack of quality of the product in the first place, this actually isn't too surprising. It looks like I should've followed my gut instinct and returned these as soon as I received them. Probably will end up returning them anyway, as they most likely will continue to fail. So disappointed.

Great replacement for the original 4' florescent lights... note, the knockout is in the center of the fixture, but there is room to drill a 2" hole if needed for placement. Easy to install by myself with the help of two ladders, will need to rent a lift to replace the lights in my RV bay, but that was expected. These are a little expensive, but worth it. Hope they will last 2-3 time longer than the florescent lights, since these are LED strips and do not use replaceable bulbs.
