It’s a matter of preference. The Kids sunscreen is infused additionally with calendula and chamomile, and sunflower oil is used in place of the jojoba oil in the Sport sunscreen in order to make it slightly more nourishing for children’s sensitive skin. Zinc sometimes has a way of traveling from your hands to your clothes, resulting in unsightly white stains… not to despair; we’ve a technique for you! You’ll need a dull-edged knife, baking powder, white vinegar, and a little laundry detergent. With the knife, scrape off the excess zinc. Sprinkle a bit of baking powder over the stain and let it absorb the grease for a couple minutes before brushing off the powder. Soak the stained article in hot water mixed with detergent and gently rub out the stain. Transfer the article to soak in white vinegar for 15 minutes, and then put it through the washer/dryer as you normally would. Your garment should be All Good! Are your sunscreens and Sunsticks effective for use in the water? If you are going in the water or exercising intensely you should re-apply sunscreen every 40 minutes. For normal every-day use re-application is suggested every 2 hours. The Sunstick is an oil and wax base, therefore stays on better in more rugged situations – it’s the go to for your rigorous activities.
