Okay, so it's my fault for not reading all the fine print, but I have used dozens of cases which hold 6 DVDs and just assumed that these were more of the same - about an inch deep with 6 individual spots to hold them.Turns out that this is like a quarter-inch deep and the space is saved by putting two overlapping DVDs on the inside front and back. The problem with that is the round extrusions which the DVDs mount are different heights in order to be able to hold the top/outside/overlapping DVD (which I discovered when DVDs kept falling out), so on at least one set, the bottom off the overlapped DVD is covered by the top DVD and the bottom portion is where I write the contents of the DVD which I now can only see by turning the back DVD upside down.Apart from that, the space savings is nice, though I was not hard up for space. More significantly it greatly reduces the space for writing the contents on the spine, so each case must be removed from the shelf to see its contents.Anyway, that's the nature of a 1/4" thick case - my bad for not noticing. I'm still deducting a star for a design like I've never seen which can only hold 2 DVDs on one side in one particular order.

They are not super heavy duty, but then again you're not paying for super heavy duty. These are perfect for what I needed them for. I use them to store copies of some of my favorite tv shows from the 70's on up till recent. I usually can fit at least 2 seasons at a time in each case, and if I only need a case for 3 or 4 discs the center piece will pop out if needed. It's cheaper buying the cases that hold 6 disc as opposed to the ones that hold 4 disc. Can't go wrong with these.

I'm a big dvd collector, my collection is currently a little over 2000, I even had a specialty shelf built in my living room to display the collection. Unfortunately, it was getting a little tight, so I bought a bunch of these and condensed my series'. Any groups of sequels, alternate versions, just stuck them together into one of these and made nifty new slipcovers by collaging the old ones. It's awesome when you can reduce the space that 46 dvds take up to 10.

These are not the brittle plastic the break during shipping - broken closure tabs, cracked corners, etc. like those I bought before. The plastic is thicker and almost feel rubbery. There is a very faint smell, which I expect will disappear shortly. Holds discs securely, but are easily removed. Would definitely buy again!

This product is excellent. The DVDs snap in and out with ease. Each case has a slot for 6 separate DVDs. I am very please with this product and will be buying them again as needed. My purchase contained 10 cases.

They help a lot. I hate it when you buy a complete series and all of the discs are stacked on top of each other or put inside sleeves and in the end, you get a bunch of scratches on the discs. I transferred those disks into these holders and it worked out great. As a bonus, they are not fat and take up a lot of space.

Product performs as expected. These work out quite nice for multiple cd's, so far no problems to complain about using this product.

I honestly only needed one case as a replacement for something I had, so this order more than covered my needs. Good value, shipped fast.
