This stuff makes the best primer! It's expensive for the small amount but it just works so much better than anything else I've tried. I have very sensitive acne prone skin that gets super oily but also somehow dry at the same time 😩 This compact does not control my oil, I still have to blot continuosly throughout the day, but the finish that it gives my powder foundation is really nice. It stops it from looking cakey and my makeup stays in place all day. I usually use it as a primer (applied with a very clean slightly firm foundation brush) and then dab a bit on top as a final step. The only issue I've run into is sometimes the surface of it can start to ball up a bit, but using a brush as opposed to a sponge helps with that, and I also spritz the brush with alcohol every morning and clean it on a cotton pad or a bit of kitchen roll before using it. It has no scent which is a big plus in my opinion, and it causes no irritation or breakouts.

I love this item. Easy to use, light feeling, avoids any cakey powder that can really age you and can be re applied to remove shine during the day if you need. Since purchasing this, I’ve not touched powder. I love it!

Saw a video of someone with mature skin using this to hide fine line and pores. Was impressed how it goes from a gel to a powder however you can't tell how much you are using and it definitely isn't magic made my face look terrible 😢

This is okay for skin without any makeup on it, and mattifies it. BUT the putty is really thick and can wipe your foundation off with it and clog into your pores. Found it works better on the body and arms so could be useful for cosplay if you want a matt skin finish.

I was quite skeptical trying this but I was proven wrong. It is like a powder and instantly mattifys the face without it being cakey or heavy.
