子どもと一緒に読む英語絵本として、とても良い一冊です。 “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”というフレーズが繰り返されるのでリズムがよく、英語がまだ分からない小さな子どもでも自然と耳に残ります。動物と色が次々に登場するので、「これは何色？」「次は何の動物？」と会話しながら楽しめるのも良いところ。 英語を“勉強する”というより、親子で楽しみながら自然に英語の音や色、動物に触れられる絵本。何度も繰り返し読みたくなる定番の一冊だと思います。

Currently reading it to my son (2 yrs old). Honestly not his favorite.... cuz he seems to prefer stories with a protagonist and an antagonist, but it is a charming book. it’s very simple, so it’s great for teaching basic English. I read “......I see a white dog looking at me. “ and then I add “what sound does a dog make?” So my son would answer “Woof woof! “ :)

日本語版が好きなので英語でも購入。繰り返しのリズムが好きみたいで、英語版もはまってる。最近やっと2語繋げて日本語話せるようになってきた２歳5ヶ月児が、この本を3ヶ月読み聞かせていたらぼんやり暗唱し始めてくれて感動中。ページも分厚くてサイズ感もとても良い。

本自体は思ったよりも小さめでしたが、2歳の娘が一人で本棚から取って読むにはちょうど良い大きさです。 内容は簡単で分かりやすく、リズムの良い文章なので、2歳の娘はすぐに暗唱出来るようになりました。 色や動物の単語を覚えるのにぴったりだと思います。

I received my order the next day, which was great. However, I was disappointed because I thought the picture book would be A4 size, but it was closer to B5 and smaller than expected.

Our kids loved this book. We read almost everyday.

I sing this book to my daughter and she loves chewing on it afterwards! She likes the pictures. It’s easier to teach her what the picture is with a plain white background because there’s not much going on. I recommend singing it because you grab there attention longer and you get so many smiles!

Le rime ripetitive, semplici e musicali sono perfette per i più piccoli che stanno imparando l’inglese, e aiutano tantissimo con la memorizzazione e il linguaggio. Le illustrazioni sono vivaci, riconoscibili, coloratissime, e ogni animale cattura subito l’attenzione. Mio figlio ha iniziato a imitare i versi e a indovinare chi sarebbe arrivato nella pagina successiva. È diventato uno dei nostri momenti preferiti della sera. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca un libro educativo, divertente e che coinvolga attivamente i bambini nella lettura. Un vero must-have per ogni libreria infantile!

I bought this book thinking it was the flip and flap version, but it actually arrived as a simple board book. Even though it wasn’t what I expected, it turned out to be a great choice. My baby is really interested in colours at the moment, and this book has been perfect for that stage. Also such a good price and free delivery if you are prime member. Maybe cheaper than kmart?
