Great for broken slots
The Viofo A139 dashcam's SD card slot can be delicate and may malfunction if not handled carefully. I lost a memory card, and when I tried to use a new one, I faced that the slot is not working anymore. This adapter is larger than a micro SD card and I fixed it into the broken slot. Now, I can use the dashcam without issues.

A lot less fumbling around.
I like that I can use my micro sd card in my electronic microscope a LOT easier. The cards are small, and difficult to insert into the slot without fumbling around a few times. I can insert the card into the extender easily, then I have one and a half inches to hold onto. . . One and done.

Careful on a locking SD card slot.
1st these work great. They have solved a problem with a difficult to access SD card slot. Be careful if your SD card slot is the locking variety. These are big enough to give you enough force to damage the switch and locking latch in your card reader.

Works perfectly.
I bought a Kindle Fire to review my dash cam footage. Once you put the SIMM in the Kindle Fire, it was very difficult to remove it. So I bought this extension for easy install and removal. It works perfectly.

Not flexible!
Looks just like the picture, but don't make the assumption that it s flexible simply because it looks like a ribbon cable. It's rigid, and has no give at all, making it the wrong choice for my application.

Works great for Creality Ender3 & CR-10S printers
This adapter will prevent the SD card from inadvertently slipping down into the the enclosure when inserting. They seem to last. I still have one from two years ago that I use daily.

Operates as required with Raspberry Pi
The problem with using this on a Pi is that the card slot is on the bottom, so it's hard to insert a card while the extension is inserted. I would like to see this type of extension with the card slot on the other side.
