It fits my needs
Bracket is made well. My only gripe are the 2 wheels that I had to wrap with a soft material. I'm using thiswith a Nikon P1000

Easy to adjust
Works fantastic with my Rokinon 135mm. The machining is smooth and it is a solid piece of work.

Professional gear at plastic printed price
This simply works on my Nikon P1000. Impressive improvement to stability and adding longevity to the camera body; I've seen many a picture of damaged bodies on P1000 due to so much lens weight hanging out.

Buy this one.
Very good product. I had to flip the bottom piece to get my Nikon P1000 to work with it but other than that it perfect.

Works with Nikon Coolpix P1000
Was looking for lens support for my Nikon Coolpix P1000 3000mm camera. It works. I turned the bracket upside down and used the two Mickey Mouse wheels to support the camera lens right before the lens extends out for max zoom. Tripod pictures are now stable with this device providing great lens support. Highly recommended.

Quality product
Any movement of a telephoto lens is multiplied several times over, so whatever can be done to minimize it is well worth it to get a sharper image. This works well to do just that. Very sturdy and easy to use.

Fundamental design flaw
Such a shame , this is a sturdy , well made lens support that is very adjustable. The design flaw is the pre drilled threaded holes for attaching to the tripod are in the wrong place ! They do not allow the tripod to be placed at the centre of gravity of camera and lens which is crazy because the lens support itself nicely creates a prefect CoG point. I can see 3 modification possibilities (1) drill and tap new holes at the other end of the horizontal mounting plate (2) drill and tap holes on end of horizontal mounting plate to allow the vertical mount to be fitted other end (3) epoxy a QR plate to bottom of horizontal mount at correct position. If I have success with any of these mods I’ll update review.

Missing something
The tool is well built, however, because of the lack of holes to attached a tripod at one side of the piece, this will present a problem for those mid size lenses that are still too long for the tripod alone. I had to have some extra holes drilled to accommodate my goto lens.
