Great springs
I knew nothing about these springs until I watched a youtube video recommending several 'easy' fixes for strats. These springs were for my Strat copies; Yamaha ERG121 and Chinese Squier. Both guitar trem arms performed great after inserting one of the springs in and then fixing the trem arm in place. In being able to 'suspend' the arm wherever I want rather than allowing it to fall down and having to reach each time I need it, I have found that I am more relaxed when using the trem arm because I'm not having to anticipate how I can pick it back up to use again. This also means I can use the trem more throughout my playing as it is just 'there'.I should state that care should be taken when using these springs as it is possible to crush them if the trem arm is fully screwed in. The attached image shows the effect of this with the top spring being a new one and the one underneath being the one I mistakenly crushed. I do not know if original FENDER springs suffer in the same way or if originals are made of a stronger metal and so would be harder to destroy. If this is a common outcome, it may explain why they are sold in packs of 12.A simple little, almost unknown' object that does its job very well. Why I wrote this review---------------------------I am creating and stocking a guitar building workshop. Almost all of my kit has come from Amazon and I review everything to help other D.I.Y builders make an informed choice on whether to buy an item or not.If you found my review useful, please mark as helpful.

They’ve put the spring back into my tremolo action
Great, just pop one in your hole and you can get just the right amount of tension on your arm so you can move it or leave it put, great idea!

works but expensive.
Put in my fender stratocaster to stop whammy bar turning loosely. Works but expensive to buy these when essentially you only need just one of the springs.

Floppy trem bar solved
Just the ticket! Popped into the trem socket of my new MIM Stratocaster and the trem now stays where I left it. Perfect! Arrived early too. Excellent service and I would definately recommend to anyone who suffers from a 'floppy tremelo bar'.
