Great for about 5 minutes then the poor quality shows through as various components begin to fail. As a robotics engineer I am very tech savvy and familiar with much larger UAV's. On review there are three main issues:1) Software setup needs a little guesswork2) Camera is mounted upside down and cant be flipped due to the ribbon cable plug location on the pcb mounted socket.3) Battery lasted for about five recharges before it died completely or only gives 10 seconds of opperation.The rotor covers are very questionable as not as robust as you would wish for. They require bending (use a hairdryer to warm) to avoid clashing with the blades in use. The mountings are pathetic as they rely on the fixing slef tapping screws making the plastic swell as opposed to actually being held by a screw thread.When working it is very easy to control and fly withou any issues, easy to learn. Im fact it is so easy to fly my 10 year old mastered it in about 5minuted.The remote works reasonably well but the lift joystick is more digital than linear in power or lift resulting in rapid lift or rapid loss of altitude.The wifi phone interface was a pig to set up but works better than the supplied remote, however this shortens the battery life considerably from 8min to 5min flying time.Removing the camera did make flying much easier and extended the battery duration.It should have been great, sadly a waste of money, time and effort. This could be one of a bad batch of drones, but based on what was received, avoid like the plague.

The media could not be loaded.  To myself!I’ve been wanting to buy a drone for a while so thought I’d treat myself to this one as the price is quite fair. I’m glad I bought it!The drone comes well packaged with instructions on how to build and operate it, they’re quite easy to understand and it’s very quick to get set up. I recommend giving the battery a good charge before using!Been flying this around the house mainly, annoying the dog. Haha! Very easy to fly, very stable and easy to control, I’ve never used a drone before and I’ve managed to do flips with it. This is ideal for beginners. I don’t trust myself with an expensive one yet.The remote comes with a phone clip, the app and camera feature is great! Camera is good quality also.Run time is as advertised, I got a little longer to be honest. It’s great fun to use and an ideal gift. Recommended.

First drone for kids. Quite light so affected by wind. best to use in open space rather than small garden as liable to be blown away to neighbours garden. Easy to master. I am unable to sort out camera app so hence the low rating.

Brilliant drone which I bought for my 11 year old. He loved it and found the controls very easy to master. It gave him a lot of pleasure as its not constantly crashing and sensitive to fly. The wifi connection to the phone for video viewing is patchy and tends to drop out quite a lot but it hasn't spoilt the enjoyment. This is a great product but the one major drawback is the battery life. You get one battery and that lasts 10 minutes tops. There is no option to buy more batteries and this the the products biggest issue. My son plays with it for 10 mins and then has to wait an hour for it to re charge so understandably has been frustrated. Please offer extra batteries and then this drone will get 5 star reviews..

I got this fir my son who’s got autism to keep him occupied for a while, we got it today only to notice the box was damaged and there was something loose inside the box so when I look the parts bag was ripped open and everything including tiny screws were loose, god knows how many were lost 😡 also the blade was scraped and it’s very flimsy, the picture makes it look like you get three extra power packs to give u 3x the battery power like u get with others but that’s a misleading picture because it’s not that fact it’s 3x aaa batteries fir the controller not the drone so basically you get a few mins play then need to wait 3 hours or so fir the next few mins, don’t bother buying look for a better model with a different brand and one that’s got extra batteries fir the drone with it, u can get that for the same price with a better camera. I’m getting refunded due to the fact it’s obviously a used item but also I wouldn’t have kept it anyways. My grandson had been going on about a drone but I didn't want to buy a toy so decided to buy one at a decent price but would operate like most expensive drones, up top a point.When this arrived I was excited and went through the instructions so I would be clear before using with grandson, they were easy to understand and there was not a lot involved in building it so I placed the battery on charge which I do with all items I order with batteries.Finally it was time for our first flight and I was hoping it was as easy to use as I had read it would be, it was!!! it was very easy to control and we had it flying around the garden in minutes. It felt stable and would seem to go where you sent it and bringing home was easy as there was a one touch return to home button.It was very good for beginners as both myself and my grandson handled it well. There is a camera which is great to use if you have your phone sitting on the remote which has a clip, the picture quality was great for a basic drone so top marks there, and using the remote is not too hard to master. It is amazing how long 7 minutes seems as that is roughly what we got from a battery but I am now looking at buying some spare batts. Loved it and the wee man is over the moon.
