Morphy Richards Filters Jetstream Steam Irons 5 Anti Scale Filter Cartridge Refills 01011

I bought these to replace my never replaced filter in my steam iron. They are clearly labelled as compatible however they are much too short. This leaves a gap about a third of the size of the plastic cartridge and this create a very frustrating problem. My iron can take a long while to suck water through the system to create steam and I have developed very interesting ways of getting it to work including tilting and banging on the water tank.As for whether they filter or not, only a water hardness test could tell.My only suggestion to the manufacturer is to match the size and shape of the original filters to ensure full compatibility. And my suggestion to anyone looking to buy replacement water filters on the cheap is to not.

Product arrived as described. This fit into the iron filter. This was bought to solve a leaking problem and appeared to work. There are 2 sponges also in the filter which are a little worn. I've not seen a replacement option for these. It would be nice to have been able to replace the sponges also. There appeared to be a sizing difference from the old filter packet the new packet was slightly smaller.

They do not appear to be exactly the same as the original that came with my Morphy Ricards Jetstream Steam iron, they are small and not same outer wrapping, however, neither the original nor the replacement have any markings so difficult to say for sure if they are genuine Morphy Richards, the inside grains look the same so hopefully they are doing the job correctly.

Came in good time well protected in a padded bag and at a remarkable price. No paperwork to say that it was actually Morphy Richards, despite the description saying that it was. They looked more taupe colour than pink but I checked the one in my iron and the size was the same and content looked similar so hopefully they will be OK.

if they are actually genuine as the first pack I bought of these was different in as much as the refills were a lot bigger and I had to squeeze them into the container but no squeezing required with these one as they are nowhere near as big.

I always use the original Morphy Richards filters now, I took a chance with generic ones previously and ruined my iron .These are the best.

Didn’t get on with them at all

The light indicated a filter change so changed filter. Light still says change filter. Either it is not really necessary or it was not the cause in the first place. However filter a bit of a push to insert but iron still running and can only assume doing it's job.
