I've stopped going to the dentist for teeth cleaning altogether. Adding this vitamin K2 cleaned the calcified krud off the back of my lower front teeth in 2 days! Truly amazing! Now my teeth are smooth and clean all the time. I just brush my teeth once a day -- and often I forget to do even that. I'm saving good money without the dentist 2x year. I learned about it from Richard Nikolay at Free the Animal website. He wrote: "Well, the K2 is the only one I definitely "feel." . . . So, I had to try it. And it worked. The vitamin K2 is a hard to get vitamin, even if you eat the best pastured eggs, butter and organ meats. It's the 'X-Factor' that Dr. Weston A. Price discovered. It puts the minerals where they are supposed to go, instead of calcifying your arteries and joints and tartar on your teeth. Be sure to get the MK-4 version of vitamin K2. The MK-7 is the plant derived form. In answer to one critic, the likely reason MK-4 doesn't hang around in the blood very long is because the body uses it up immediately. MK-4 is the form our body uses most readily. And even though this bottle costs alot up front, you only need several drops a day -- so the bottle will last you all year. NOTE: Read all of Richard Nikolay's blogs on this. Apparently, for this to work, you need good quality Fermented Cod Liver Oil, only made by Green Pastures. I have been on that kind of cod liver oil for years. Maybe that's why I had such a dramatic effect. Bottomline: if we get all the nutrients we really need, our body should be clean and smell good -- like all primitive people were. I also stopped wheat completely (read Wheat Belly by William Davis) and bye-bye went bad breath and body odor. I only take a shower every 2 or 3 days. It is a great freedom.

I have been taking the natto stuff (mk7) but kept reading all the good stuff from Chris Masterjohn and Ray Peat about vitamin k2 in the mk4 version. Obviously not about to go ham on the goose liver - and pastured eggs and milk are good but not great sources of this vitamin. I can’t eat beef liver without gagging so this stuff is it. I take 1-2 drops a day usually in a divided dose. The bottle has 1200 drops in it so it should last a long time which is good cuz it’s expensive. I keep it in the fridge. I have noticed a difference I think - some people say mk4 doesn’t stay in your blood for very long and is useless while others say that it’s being absorbed by your tissues which is where you’d want this form to go. So ultimately I’m young and healthy and trying to stay that way with a nutritional amount of this stuff (not therapeutic doses) so I guess we’ll see how I’m doing in another 35 years? People say their teeth feel great, I’d agree. I was having some jaw pain and stuff that’s gone. I think I feel a little more energetic too. Update 12/13/19 Still taking this stuff and my original bottle is still good to go. I got a chest x ray done when I pulled a muscle to rule out any other issues and my bones are great. No arthritis and they’re nice and thick. I’m still pretty young but I know people younger than me that have been surprised to find out they already have the earliest stages of arthritis beginning. So anecdotally I think It’s helping keep me healthy and I’ll keep taking it in the low doses that I do.

The product itself is excellent. The bottle is defective that I received again! for the second time although I didn’t contact Amazon, the first time , AGAIN is seeping through bottle so losing product and this is not cheap. Therefore, I will look for an alternative place to buy it , although I called Amazon and they were happy to request a partial credit.

Like many reviewers, I found that using this daily reduced any tartar buildup on the back of my lower front teeth. My main reason for taking it though, was to help with Calcium transport out of my arteries and into my bones. I'm on my second bottle, and I can't tell if it's working in that regard, but the way it reduces the calcium buildup on my teeth is encouraging. There is conflicting information whether Mk-4 or Mk-7 is better, and this is the MK-4 version. My research indicates Mk4 is the better form, but do your own research and draw your own conclusions. The price is high, but keep in mind that this is high dose formula, and the price per mg is pretty reasonable. Most of the published research uses 45 mg/day, and I'm taking 30 - 40 mg/day. A lot of other Vit. K products report their dosage in mcg (1 mg = 1000mcg). Each drop is 1mg, and there are 1200 drops per bottle according to the label. As others have noted, it drips out pretty slow - not a big deal but who wants to waste a minute waiting when it can be done in a few seconds? The solution is to pry off the plastic drip dispenser and enlarge the hole as indicated in the photo; try a pushpin or small nail. I can get my 20 drops in about 5 seconds now.
